The fixture for Week 3 of our 2026 finals series has been released!

Our Men's Seniors and Reserves Grand Finals have been confirmed, with both games at Tony Sheehan Oval at Latrobe University on Saturday afternoon. The Reserves game starts at 12:15pm, before the senior game at 2:55pm.

Our Women's Seniors do battle with Old Scotch with a place in the Premier Women's Grand Final on the line. The game is scheduled for a 6:00pm start on Saturday evening at Kennedy Community Centre in Dingley Village.

🏃‍➡️Lachie James led the midfield in the Men's victory over Prahran, with 25 disposal and 6 clearances, whilst Jimmy Seaton-Nichol added 19 and 2 goals. Max Waters was stoic in defence with 20 disposals and 10 intercepts.

🏃‍♀️‍➡️Loz Rinaldi had another huge game with 45 hitouts, including the most important one of the day that set up the match-winning play. Lily Barr was outstanding with 26 disposals and 4 clearances, whilst Sarah Ford has 12 contested possessions out her 20!

Last Thursday, Senior Men's Team Manager Claude Salvatore fired up his spit at Victoria Park, to deliver one of the best Thursday night dinners we've ever seen. It wasn't without a speed bump, though.

🏉🏉 WEEKEND SCOREBOARD 🏉🏉

The first weekend of September bore three massive wins for the Bears. Let’s look at the results on the Ninx Electrical Scoreboard!

The weekend kicked off with the Men's Reserves preliminary final versus St Marys Salesian. It was a tough, tight contest in blustery conditions, but the boys pulled away with 2 goals to 0 in the last quarter to win by 11 points and qualify for the Grand Final!

The Men's Seniors then took centre stage against Prahran. A strong second quarter against the breeze and then a third quarter blitz was enough to get the choccies, with the final margin 34 points. It sets up a rematch with Preston in the Division 1 Men's decider!

On Sunday at Williamstown, the Women's Seniors did battle with Old Brighton in the first semi final. The margin never got above 6 points in what was a nail-biting afternoon. A desperate last-ditch play from a forward stoppage ended with the ball in the hands of Krystal 'Ice' Shaw in the goal square, who kicked the winner with just seconds left on the clock! An incredible 1-point victory now sends us in to the preliminary final versus Old Scotch!

🐻🏉MEN'S PRELIM FINAL WINS ✅✅

It was an outstanding day at Waverley Oval yesterday, with both our Men's teams saluting in cut-throat preliminary finals!

The Reserves won a tight contest with St Marys Salesian, earning our fourth Division 1 Reserve Grand Final appearance in the last six seasons (back to 2019).

The Seniors had a strong win over Prahran, earning the right to a rematch with Preston next weekend, and our first Senior Men's Grand Final appearance since 2015. The added bonus - promotion to Premier C for season 2027!

Our Women's Senior team finished it's home and away campaign on Saturday, finishing 3rd on the ladder in a hotly-contested Premier Women's competition!

It's the 5th straight Premier finals appearance for the Senior side, as we face off against Old Brighton in the first semi final this weekend..

Fixture's for all finals games this upcoming weekend will be released by the VAFA shortly.

It was a mix of Finals and Home & Away action on Saturday. Let’s look at the results on the Ninx Electrical Scoreboard!

The Women's Seniors and Reserves travelled to face Westbourne Grammarians in the last game of the home & away season. The Reserves started the day with an 11-point win over the Warriors and finishing season 2026 on a high! The Seniors, whose finals position was assured owing to earlier results going our way, couldn't get the choccies, but end the season in third position and qualifying for finals!

It was week 1 of finals for our Men's sides, as both the Seniors & Reserves played in second semi finals at Coburg City Oval. Unfortunately we came home empty handed, after the Reserves played out another thriller against Parkside, this time unfortunately going down by 12 points, whilst the Seniors were outplayed by Preston. Both sides return to the field this coming weekend in Preliminary Final action!
