Everyone and their dog has a shmicko website these days - literally! Thanks to AI your dog could probably vibe code it. Anyone can look pro.

So what’s actually going to make you stand out?

It’s not your welcome sequence.
Or your funnel.
Or your tech stack.
Or your perfectly polished bio.
Or learning how to yap on Instagram.

Those things help the cause, but if everyone has them, they’re irrelevant.

When the stakes are high, that’s not what gets talked about in the group chat.

Think about a lawyer.

When someone’s sister needs a lawyer and asks, “Does anyone know someone good?” nobody says:

“Oh yes, you need bla bla. Her website is excellent. Have you seen her yap videos? Great trending audio.”

They talk about the client who walked in certain they’d lose, and walked out with their life still intact.

A reputation is built one hard case at a time, often with no one watching except the person it mattered to.

And that’s true for us, too.

A website can be fixed up in an afternoon.

The skill to walk into the room, understand what’s actually going on, solve a difficult problem and create a long term result for another human being?

That takes nothing but reps.

It can’t be faked or fast-tracked.

It’s so easy to get distracted by the parts that are easy to fix or control or tweak and call it the work, or building a personal brand.

But your “personal brand” is not your reputation ~ It’s just the wrapping paper.

Your reputation is something other people build for you, one story about you at a time, after you’ve been the one who came through.

And as tech gets easier, AI gets better, it becomes harder to spot a real person from a robot, and it gets easier than ever to look like a pro…

Reputation becomes even more valuable.

In fact, I think it’s easier than ever to stand out when you focus on reputation. It goes like this:

When the stakes are high, your name enters the chat.

That’s it.

Be the person whose name comes up when it’s time to solve the problem.

The rest will take care of itself!

(And in honour of Dolly, let this be a reminder nobody gives you permission to step into doing what you know will make y

I used to think being a great coach meant doing HASHTAG *The Most*

Taking exhaustive notes.
Sending pages of them over afterwards.
Having the next question ready.
Finding the breakthrough.
Giving them something tangible to walk away with.

Almost like the value of the session needed to be proven in paperwork.

“Look how much I did for you! Here are seven pages of value in case you forget!”

But the better my coaching and the better the results, the less I’m doing on my end. A great coach once told me to stop taking on the labour of the session and empower your clients instead. It changed everything.

You’re listening instead of frantically recording.
You’re not trying to demonstrate value every thirty seconds.
You don’t need to fill every silence.
You can ask one extraordinarily precise question instead of fourteen pretty-good ones.
Or a crappy one that doesn’t land, but gives you the insight you need to get to the heart of things.
You don’t need to drag someone towards the breakthrough you think they should be having.
And you can allow your client to do their part of the work.

Becoming exceptionally good at working with people doesn’t require you to take their notes. 👎

It means becoming skilled enough that you can finally stop trying so freaking hard to be helpful and just listen.

Presence and precision over proving your worth through performance. (That’s a lot of P’s but here we are)

Not caring less. Not sloppy. Efficient Leadership.

Focusing on what actually creates change.

That’s a very different kind of confidence. It’s probably more true.

And a very different way to coach. But if you’re sending all the notes, this is your sign to stop.

It’s also a huge part of what I teach inside my NLP Practitioner training, BYOC: how to become exceptionally skilled at the craft of working with human change.

The next cohort begins 21 October, But we have an accelerator course starting in two weeks to kick off your epic practise.

If this is the kind of practitioner you want to become, send me BYOC and I’ll send you the details.

(P.S - also tell me how long you’ve been coaching for and I’ll personally reply

Strategy. So hot right now.

What is it though?

We're so tantilised by this idea of a new "strategy" to solve all our problems but most business owners didn't start a business with business knowledge, therefore don't know their ass from their elbows inside of how a business actually functions. I have strong opinions about this because small businesses prop up entire economies, and they deserve all the support they can get - yet it's genuinely hard to find reliable, timeless education that's also practical for someone who is already in the trenches.

Back to strategy: most people don't need a new strategy the way they think of "strategy"- like some mythical magic pill where an angel comes out of the sky and says, "This is exactly what you need to do and in this order at this time and you will be rolling in cash".

The true strategy they need is to understand all the different parts of their business, and how best to optimise each part so it functions well. And then, in which order.

Get to know the rules that matter, and the big picture, **then** focus on the most important part **for you** based on **your goals** and **your situation**.

There's no such thing as a strategy that works for everyone - except maybe... breathing.

If you don't know your ass from your elbows, and you're a coach or service based business owner ready to take ownership, Hi. We should talk!

I run specific spaces based on where your business is sitting to support you to get to the next level. We talk strategy once we know your situation, so it can be tailored. You learn as you move. The coaching is personal and applied education, and the aim is to get you to a place you're confident you know how to create the results you're craving sustainably. We also deal deeply with the mindset that gets in the way of taking action, as well as making sure we're optimising for your next 10 years, not a great testimonial.

Please only reach out though if you're not offended by me saying ass an elbows because this is me at about a 2.

Most people ask, “how do I get more clients?”

Ask a better question: “How do I become the kind of person who knows exactly what to do to create more clients when I need them?”

Most people ask: “What’s the tactic? Just tell me what to do!”

A better question; “what’s the capability I need to develop so I can create the result predictably on repeat?”

"Knowing sales"... isn’t enough.

Can you rely on yourself to turn the taps on? To create sales on *your* timing? To have predictability? Consistency? Security?

That’s freedom. Thats what we’re doing in Supernatural Sales!

Reply SNS and I’ll send you the details.

It's Open!

Something I've been building for a very, very long time behind closed curtains, is finally here.

Supernatural Sales is a six week live course for Service based business owners who are brilliant at what they do – and stuck (or simply suck) when it comes to selling it.

Not because you're bad at sales. You're human. Selling is human. No.

Because the idea of "selling" has been etched into your brain as something you need to perform for, or hype people up about, or share intimate details of your bank account about, or be a pest about.

Because you don’t know and like and even trust “sales” in a way that makes you genuinely want to do it every single day (which is the goal).

You’ve chosen integrity… but sometimes at the cost of income.

You don't have to choose.

I’m going to show you that selling is soul-enriching when you do it well.

Not cringe. Natural. And dare I say it - so much fun!

If you’ve ever loved making new friends, hosting people for a special gathering in a beautiful space, having a deep conversation in the corner of a party, improv, spontaneous adventures, kismet moments of awe, chance encounters, writing love letters, gift-giving, cooking for people following a hunch or winging it - you’re going to be great at this.

We begin 6th July. Enrolment is open now until 30th June.

Come and have a look. 🌿 (and my inbox is open if you have questions!)

Not strategic?

My eye. You are, but you probably have a definition of what “being strategic” means that doesn’t fit.

Redefine it! Strategy gives you space, freedom, intention, peace (because you know you’re working towards a bigger outcome) and a genuine smug feeling. Everyone loves a smug feeling.

No but seriously, if you’ve always felt like being strategic meant stress, you’re not looking at how you’re already doing it really well

Big picture outcome down to detail
It’s a muscle
And it’s one worth developing.

I’d like to cordially invite you to learn to think strategically but also consider your season of life, your values, your capacity, and dreaming bigger than - by joining one of my masterminds.

Comment “mastermind” and I’ll send you a link to the page that introduces you to your options and you can check them out for yourself.
