Congratulations to Max, Charlie and Hunter on representing Kiama Swim Club on the state stage and putting in some fantastic swims, including five personal bests across the championships! 👏

Celebrating two very special swimmers!

Tonight marked the last Kiama Swim Club race for two of our much loved swimmers, Lilly and Ruby. We couldn’t let the occasion pass without saying a huge “thank you”.

Thank you for bringing so much enthusiasm, dedication and encouragement to the club. Your commitment to swimming, your support of your fellow swimmers, and the positivity you’ve shared poolside have made such a difference.

You’ve both been wonderful members of our swimming community, and it has been a pleasure watching you grow, race, cheer others on and give your best each time you hit the water.

While we’re sad to see you finish your Kiama Swim Club racing journey, we’re incredibly proud of you and excited to see what comes next. 💙

Do you know a swimmer interested in participating in swimming carnivals? Kiama Swim Club allows your swimmer to get the chance to race, gain experience, build confidence and compete as part of Team Kiama Swim Club at local development or qualifying carnivals, as well as at regional, country, state or national championships.

Or perhaps your swimmer is keen to attend Friday night Pointscore? Pointscore gives swimmers opportunities to practice, track personal progress and build confidence in a low-pressure racing environment.

Swimmers don’t have to participate in both Pointscore and carnivals, they can choose one or do both.

A huge congratulations to Trae!

Great news for Kiama Swim Club member Trae, who received a wonderful recognition of his outstanding performances in the pool over the past 12 months.

Trae was awarded the Illawarra Academy of Sport (IAS) Para Athlete of the Year at their Presentation Gala on Friday night. 👏

What a fantastic achievement and a very proud moment for Trae, his family, and our club’s Head Coach Greg! Their hard work, dedication and commitment have certainly paid off.

Congratulations Trae, this award is so well deserved! 💙 💛 🤍

Our Kiama Swim Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been confirmed:

Location: Kiama Golf Club

The AGM is a great opportunity to hear about what has been happening at the club over the past year, learn about our plans for the season ahead, and importantly, appoint our committee and key club positions.

We are always looking for members to get involved. If you have ever considered lending a hand or contributing more to Kiama Swim Club, we would love to have you on board. Our club relies on the support of volunteers and every contribution makes a difference.
For members who are unable to attend on the day, nominations can be submitted via email to [email protected].
