State championships at Tansey saw hot weather and hot polocrosse.
We had 10 players to end the year with success.
The first team of John, Clay, William, Shelly Colless, Corey Perren and John Donovan came home with the Beaten "C" grade.
Michelle Knight, Brendan Beck and Di Kimlin played with Warwick 4.
Amber Perren with Killarney 2.
Mini, Luke Colless played in the subbies spectacular with his Idol Lorren Silitto as his coach.
Thank you for our timekeepers and supporters for another year of being there to support or club.
2027 carnival is our 50th being held on May 1st and 2nd.
Next up is our AGM on the 1st November.

Another weekend of polocrosse at Warwick. Beaten "C" grade winners.
Happy to have the section of Lee Stickler, David Schnitzerling and Conner Felthan join Corey Perren, Clay Colless and John Donovan.
Amber Perren played with Tara in the ladies competition and lost in semi on sunday.
One more carnival at Tansey on the 4th 5th September and that will be the season done for most of us.

A very successful weekend at the 70th Chinchilla carnival. Stanley Rivers 1 beat Tansey/Eulo, Goondiwindi , Roma and Chinchilla going undefeated all weekend to win the "E" grade.
Team member Clay colless, Di Kimlin, John Donovan, Johnny Colless, Shelly Colless with spare Aaron Galvin from Gold Coast.
Congratulations to the Chinchilla club for a great weekend of polocrosse.

Well have we been busy in the last month.
John and Di made the trip to the Tara carnival. John teamed up with the Wandoan 2 team to win the Beaten "E" grade. Di played FUN grade with 5 others. They drew out a different team member and position for each game making it a challenge but FUN.
Bollon carnival was next in line and a first time trip for Brendan Michelle and Clay. They paired up with the Roma 2 section of Mick, Jacob and Ciria. The team missed out on placing on a goal count back. Clay was awarded Best Player award. A great carnival and superb weather.
Cunningham carnival was next up with John D and Clay playing in Rest of the World with Amanda, BJ, Isabella and Jett. After a scratchy start they got it together on Sunday morning to win the Beaten C grade.
Di played in Fun grade.
Our little junior Luke put his polocrosse on hold this weekend to represent Zone 3 at the Queensland State Pony Club Tetrathlon.
Luke had to Swim, Run, Laser Shoot and Show Jump.
Congratulations Luke and Dart on winning the Champion Boy under 10. Well done to this new combo.
The carnivals are running out but you can be sure the Club will be represented at them all.

SAD NEWS
This week the club received the news that an early member Tom Haskins passed away in the Childers hospital.

Super proud of this little club.
With only 10 registered players we have been to 4 carnivals and have bought trophies home from each carnival.
Gold coast polocrosse carnival on the weekend we teamed up with a Killarney section of Dan O'Leary, Georgian Parker and Mitch Hearn.
Our section of Cory and Amber Perren and Clay Colless. To win the Beaten "B" Grade. Cory won player of the Match award.

Stanley Rivers Polocrosse Club attended Cunningham carnival on the weekend with 6 open and 1 subbie player.
Open section played with a Tansey section. Great games no prizes.
The FUN grade section teamed up with a Cunningham section and came home runners up.
Well done everyone.
With only 11 playing members this year we are now ready for the Gold Coast carnival this coming weekend.
