Kilmore Netball Club is a Junior Netball club that participates in the Kilmore Broadford Netball Association (KBNA) on Saturday mornings from April to September.

💙🤍 ONE SEASON DOWN… AND WHAT A RIDE! 🤍💙

This season has been a pretty special one for the Kilmore Netball Club committee because it has been our first season together.

And let’s be honest…

We’ve learnt a LOT. 😂

We’ve asked questions.
We’ve made decisions.
We’ve changed our minds.
We’ve solved problems we didn’t know existed.
We’ve sent a ridiculous number of messages.
And there may have been a few moments of “surely this can’t be happening…” 😂

But through it all, this group has worked incredibly hard because we genuinely care about this club.

We are proud of what we have achieved in our first season, but even more excited about where we can take Kilmore Netball Club from here.

Our focus is clear:

To build a welcoming, supportive and ever-evolving club.

A club where our players feel valued.
Where coaches feel supported.
Where families feel welcome.
Where volunteers feel appreciated.
And where our community feels proud to say, “That’s our club.”

We know there is still plenty to learn and plenty we can improve — and we’re okay with that.

Because we’re not here to stand still.

We’re here to build.

To everyone who has supported us through our first season — thank you for trusting us, encouraging us and coming along for the ride. 💙

💙🤍 IT TAKES A VILLAGE… AND WE HAVE A PRETTY GOOD ONE. 🤍💙

Behind every junior netballer is a whole team of people.

The early morning alarm clocks.
The training runs.
The Saturday drives.
The forgotten drink bottles.
The uniform washing.
The snacks.
The cheering.
The encouragement after a tough game.

And, of course, the parents who swear they are “just going to watch one game” and somehow end up volunteering for three jobs. 😂

To our families, supporters and wider Kilmore community — thank you. 💙

Thank you for backing our players, supporting our coaches and getting behind our club.

The noise from the sidelines, the encouragement after a loss and the celebrations after a win all help create the environment we want our young players to experience.

Because junior sport should be about more than winning.

It should be about belonging.

And we are incredibly proud of the sense of community that is growing around Kilmore Netball Club.

Every Saturday, our players take the court, our coaches take their positions and our supporters find their spot on the sideline.

But there’s one very important person we simply can’t have a game without…

To every umpire who has taken the whistle for Kilmore Netball Club this season — thank you.

Thank you for giving your time, for helping our players learn the game and for being part of our Saturday mornings.

We know umpiring junior netball isn’t always easy — especially when you have passionate players, passionate coaches and very passionate supporters! 😂

Your contribution is incredibly important to our club and to the development of our young players.

💙🤍 THE PEOPLE WHO SOMEHOW KNOW EVERYTHING… OUR TEAM MANAGERS! 😂

Where would we be without our team managers?

Probably missing uniforms, not knowing what time the game starts and wondering where everyone is supposed to be! 😂

Our team managers are the quiet achievers behind every team.

They keep parents informed, organise the little things, answer the questions, chase the information, help on game day and somehow manage to keep everything moving.

And they do it all while also being parents, carers, workers and everything else life throws at them.

To every Kilmore Netball Club team manager — thank you. 💙

Your contribution might happen behind the scenes, but it makes a massive difference to our players, coaches and families.

We appreciate you more than you probably realise.

And yes… you can officially put your feet up now.

💙🤍 OUR COACHES DESERVE A HUGE SHOUT-OUT! 🤍💙

One of our biggest priorities this season was attracting quality coaches who genuinely care about developing our players — and we are incredibly proud of the coaching group we have built.

To every coach who stood on the sidelines this season — thank you.

Thank you for giving up your time.
For planning training.
For teaching skills.
For encouraging players when they were frustrated.
For celebrating the little wins.
And for helping our young netballers believe in themselves.

Coaching junior sport is about so much more than teaching someone how to pass, shoot or defend.

It’s about building confidence, resilience, teamwork and a love of the game.

And we’ve been incredibly lucky to have coaches who understand that. 💙

We hope you know just how much your contribution is valued by our club, our players and our families.

Thank you for investing in our kids.

And coaches… enjoy your break.

You’ve earned it.

💙🤍 THIS ONE IS FOR OUR PLAYERS. 🤍💙

Nine teams. Four age groups. Countless training sessions, games, wins, losses, laughs, tears, high fives and “what position am I playing?” moments. 😂🏐

To every player who represented Kilmore Netball Club this season — thank you.

Thank you for turning up.
For giving things a go.
For learning.
For encouraging your teammates.
For picking each other up when things didn’t go your way.
And for celebrating each other when they did.

We’ve watched our players grow not only as netballers, but as teammates and young people.

And that’s what makes us proud.

The scoreboard will always tell part of the story, but it doesn’t tell us about the friendships made, the confidence built, the skills learnt or the courage it takes to step onto a court and give it your all.

So to our nine teams — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. 💙

You are the reason we do what we do.

💙🤍 THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 2026 WINTER SEASON! 🤍💙

And just like that… the whistles have gone quiet, the netballs are packed away and we can take a moment to reflect on one hell of a season at Kilmore Netball Club! 🏐

This season we proudly fielded 9 teams across Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 — and we couldn’t be prouder of every player who pulled on the navy and white.

For our committee, this was also our first season together. We’ve learnt A LOT, solved plenty of problems, sent far too many messages 😂 and discovered that running a netball club involves considerably more than putting players on a court!

But amongst the learning curves, there is so much to be proud of.

This season we have focused on attracting quality coaches, building strong support around our players and creating a club that is welcoming, supportive and always evolving.

And we couldn’t do any of it without our incredible community.

Over the coming days, we’re going to celebrate the people who have made our season what it was — our players, coaches, team managers, umpires, families, supporters and our hardworking committee.

Because Kilmore Netball Club isn’t just about what happens on the court. It’s about the people who make the club what it is. 💙

And once the celebrating is done… it’s time to get ready for SPRING! 👀

💙🏐 KILMORE NAVY! WHAT A TEAM. 🏐💙

Today didn’t quite go the way we had hoped, but there is absolutely nothing for this team to hang their heads about.

They tried.
They fought.
They gave absolutely everything they had.

And while they may have finished runners up, they have shown us all season exactly what this team is made of. 💙

From the first whistle today, they played incredible netball.

🛡️ Our defence, WOW. Strong, composed and relentless. You worked so hard, applied pressure and never stopped fighting for every ball.

💙 Our midcourt, what a shift. You worked tirelessly all game, running, contesting, creating opportunities and giving everything for your teammates.

🏐 Our attackers, you never gave up. You worked hard, created opportunities and continued to fight right until that final whistle.

And that is what we will remember.

Not the final score.

We will remember the fight, the determination, the teamwork and the heart this group has shown all season.

To our girls and Keanu, you have made your families, your coaches, your club and your entire Kilmore community incredibly proud. To come from 4th on the ladder, fight your way through finals and earn a place in a Grand Final is an achievement you should be immensely proud of.

You represented Kilmore Netball Club and yourselves with pride, courage and class today. 💙

And to the incredible Kilmore community who came out, cheered, clapped and supported this team, thank you. Your voices were heard, and your support meant so much.

What an incredible day for your club, taking out the premiership in Under 11s, Under 13s and Under 16s. An amazing achievement across your junior program. Enjoy your celebrations, you’ve earned them!

And to our Kilmore Navy…

You might be runners up today, but to us, you are absolute champions. 💙

Be proud. Be proud of how far you’ve come. Be proud of how you played. And most importantly, be proud of each other.

The night before the GRAND FINAL… and we couldn’t be prouder! 🥹💙

🏆 GRAND FINAL

Tomorrow, Kilmore Navy steps onto the court for the biggest game of their season — taking on the undefeated Seymour for the ultimate prize!

And we want our Kilmore community there in force! 📣💙

Yes, we are the underdogs.

But being the underdog means absolutely nothing when you have heart, belief, determination and a team that refuses to give up.

This team finished 4th on the ladder. They weren’t handed a spot in this Grand Final. They earned it.

They fought their way through finals. They believed in each other. They turned up when it mattered. And now, they have given themselves the opportunity to take on the only team they haven’t yet conquered.

And that’s what makes tomorrow so exciting. 🔥

The girls and Keanu have worked incredibly hard all season. They have grown, challenged each other, celebrated each other and, most importantly, they have stuck together.

Tomorrow isn’t about where they finished on the ladder.

It’s not about being the favourites.

It’s about 60 minutes of believing that they belong there — because they absolutely do. 💙

So Kilmore… WE NEED YOU! 📣

Bring your voices. Bring your navy. Bring the noise!

Let’s create an atmosphere these players will never forget and remind them that an entire community is standing behind them.

From 4th on the ladder… to the GRAND FINAL.
