This week is National Volunteer Week, Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering.

At Swimming Victoria, we’d like to say a sincere thank you to our officials, team managers, committee members, and volunteers across our swimming community. Your dedication, passion and commitment help keep our sport moving, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

The 2026 theme, “Your Year to Volunteer,” celebrates the impact of volunteers and encourages more people to get involved in meaningful ways. If you’ve ever thought about giving back to the sport, this could be your year to volunteer.
