It’s time to come together and celebrate another fantastic season at Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club!

All players, volunteers and their families are warmly invited to join us for an evening celebrating the people who make our club what it is.

Please RSVP in your team group chats so we can plan catering and numbers.

We’d love to see everyone there as we recognise the achievements, effort and contribution of our KSSC community throughout 2026.

🖤❤️ THANK YOU, REFEREES! ❤️🖤

As our 2026 season wraps up, we want to give a huge thank you to all of the referees who have supported Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club throughout the year.

From carnivals, to our Pink Day, to week-in, week-out season fixtures, our referees have played an essential role in keeping our games running safely and fairly.

This season, we are incredibly proud to have achieved 100% referee coverage for our men’s and women’s games — meaning every match had:
⚽ 1 Centre Referee 🚩 2 Assistant Referees

That simply would not have been possible without the support of our local Football Queensland registered referees, along with the many club referees who stepped up when needed.

To every referee who gave their time, travelled, picked up a whistle, ran a line, helped at a carnival or supported one of our club events — thank you! Your contribution to our club and our game is genuinely appreciated.

Interested in giving refereeing a go? We would love to hear from anyone interested in becoming a referee next year, or helping out with our Social Sevens from October to December this year. Whether you want to start as a club referee or become registered with Football Queensland, get in contact with us and we can help you get started.

And that’s a wrap on this block of Walking Football!

Numbers were a little lower last night, with a few of our regulars already off enjoying their holidays, but those who turned up certainly brought the enthusiasm. 🙌

The score, you ask? Who cares! 😂 That’s exactly what we love about Walking Football.

Turn up.
Have a kick.
Have a laugh.
Enjoy the company. ❤️🖤

It’s all about having fun, staying active and enjoying the fellowship that has made this group such a great part of our club.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us throughout this block — whether you’ve been there every week or just popped along for a game or two. We hope the laughs, friendships and football continue when we return!

⛳️⚽️ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: WE ARE NOT A GOLF COURSE! ⚽️⛳️

Some may not know this, but Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club is NOT a golf course 😅

There are plenty of lovely local golf courses around… but our soccer fields are not one of them!

Unfortunately, this season alone we have collected more than 150 golf balls that have been hit onto our fields from a neighbouring property. Yes… 150+ golf balls! 🤯

So, a friendly but very serious PSA:

🚫 We do not want your golf balls! Please hit them somewhere else!

Golf balls left on our fields create a genuine safety hazard, particularly if one is struck by our mowing equipment. They also create a huge amount of unnecessary extra work for our volunteers, who have to walk the fields and collect them before mowing and before players can safely use the grounds.

Our volunteers already put countless hours into maintaining our facilities and keeping our fields safe and ready for football. Picking up someone else’s golf balls really shouldn’t need to be added to that list.

Please be considerate of our grounds, our players, our equipment and—most importantly—our volunteers.

⚽ Soccer balls? Absolutely.
⛳ Golf balls? No thanks!

Walking Football is on TONIGHT, and it’s our final session before we take a few weeks off! ❤️🖤

So if you’ve been meaning to come along, tonight is the perfect chance to join us for one more night of football, laughs and great company before we return on Tuesday, 13 October.

🏆⚽ SOUTH BURNETT WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR ⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to Kingaroy West’s Anna Logan, our 2026 South Burnett Women’s Player of the Year! 👏❤️

This award is determined across the entire season and all teams, with opposition coaches awarding Best & Fairest points after each game. To finish the year with the most points is a fantastic recognition of the consistency, effort and quality she has brought to the field week after week.

And what a season it has been! Between being a working mum of two and an absolute soccer star, Anna somehow still regularly found enough energy to back up for the second game as well — apparently it was “good for the fitness”! 😂⚽💪

As always, she has had a fantastic year and thoroughly earned this recognition.
In her acceptance speech, Anna also made a point of thanking the many volunteers who made the women’s competition possible, recognising the huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes each week to get everyone onto the field. ❤️

Congratulations, Anna — an outstanding achievement and a brilliant season! 🏆👏
