This morning we took it back to the creek, just like the old days bringing back those memories of what Kingscliff Hockey Club is all about family, fun, sunshine and community.

It was a beautiful morning celebrating our juniors, our families and another fantastic season of hockey.

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, families who helped make 2026 such a successful season.

💚🖤 KINGSCLIFF MEN — WHAT A SEASON! 🖤💚

What a year it has been for our men.
Right from the start, this group battled through injuries, work commitments, unavailable players and all the challenges that come with getting two teams on the field. But week after week, the boys kept turning up, backing each other and representing Kingscliff with plenty of pride.

And the results speak for themselves…

🏆 DIVISION 2 — MINOR PREMIERS
🏆 DIVISION 3 — MINOR PREMIERS

Two minor premierships is an incredible achievement and something every player involved should be bloody proud of.

Unfortunately, Division 2 couldn't quite get over the line, going down in the finals two weeks in a row and missing out on the Grand Final.

Division 3 fought their way into the Grand Final and gave everything they had, but unfortunately came up against a very good Wartahs side on the day.

Of course, we wanted the majors. We wanted to finish the job.
But when we look back at this season, there is so much to be proud of.

Two teams. Two minor premierships. A Grand Final appearance. Countless players putting in the hard yards despite work, injuries and everything else life throws at you.

Most importantly, we saw a group of blokes who continued to stick together and represent the green and black.

A massive THANK YOU to every player who pulled on the Kingscliff shirt this season. You have done the club proud.

And to our supporters who travelled down to Lismore to get behind the boys thank you! Having the green and black in the crowd means so much to our players and our club.
Now we reset.

Because 2027 is a very special year for Kingscliff Hockey Club our 65th year!

After the success our men has had this year, we want to see even more blokes back in the green and black and more new faces joining us.

65 years of Kingscliff Hockey Club
65 years of mateship.
65 years of families and generations being part of this club.

Let's make our 65th year one of the biggest and best yet.

2026 was a bloody good year.
Let's make 2027 even better.

A massive congratulations to two of our Kingscliff Hockey Club junior girls, who have both been named PLAYER OF THE YEAR in their respective competitions! 💚🖤🤍

What an incredible achievement and one that is so thoroughly deserved!

Both girls have been putting in the hard yards for years. They have represented at numerous rep carnivals, continued to challenge themselves, turned up week after week and shown the dedication, commitment and attitude that makes great players.

These awards aren't just about talent they're recognition of the time, effort, sacrifice and love for the game they've put in year after year.

And behind every junior achievement is a family making it happen.

A MASSIVE shout-out to their parents the early mornings, travel, training, games, rep carnivals, organising everything behind the scenes and constantly supporting their girls. These awards belong to you guys as well!

And to all the Kingscliff coaches and volunteers who have helped teach, develop and encourage these girls along the way thank you. This is exactly why we invest so much into our juniors.

To see two of our young girls reach this level and be recognised as the best players in their competitions is something our whole club should be incredibly proud of.

The future of our club is looking bright! 💚🖤🤍🏑

🏆💚 U14s GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 💚🏆
WHAT A GAME!

Our U14s have done it! After an incredible grand final that went all the way into shoutouts, our young side showed incredible determination, composure and team spirit to come away with the win!

Yesterday wasn't just about the result. It was about two teams of great young players putting everything out there and producing a truly special grand final.

To both teams you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. The future of hockey is looking very bright with kids like these coming through!

🏑 FINALS WEEKEND WRAP-UP 💚

What a massive weekend of finals hockey for Kingscliff! Some incredible performances, some heartbreak, and plenty more to play for.

Open Women
Our Open Women fought all the way in a fantastic Grand Final, going down. A huge effort to make the Grand Final and a massive congratulations to the girls on an outstanding season. You should all be incredibly proud!

U14s Mixed
Great win by our youngest superstars booking themselves a spot in the Grand final!

Division 3 Men
STRAIGHT THROUGH TO THE GRAND FINAL!
The boys got the job done and have earned their spot in the big one. One more to go!

Division 2 Men
A tough loss, but the season isn't over yet! The boys get another chance this week in a do-or-die battle for a place in the Grand Final.

Division 3 Women
WINNERS!
The girls have booked their place in the Grand Final after another huge performance. Bring on the big one!

Division 1 Women
A heartbreaking finish in a nail-biter, going down in the shootout. The girls left absolutely everything out on the field and should be incredibly proud of the season they've put together.

What a massive weekend ahead for Kingscliff Hockey Club!

We’ve got finals hockey across the club, with our Open Women kicking things off Friday night in their Grand Final at Gold Coast Hockey Centre!

Then Saturday is all about getting behind our teams at Hockey Tweed. We’ve got 5 massive finals, so let’s get as many Kingy people there as possible, fill the sidelines, wear the green and make some noise! 💚📣

Every team has worked hard all season to get here now it’s time for us to show them what ONE CLUB is all about.

What an achievement! Debbie has just returned from Rotterdam representing Australia A 45s, competing on the international stage and coming away with a SILVER MEDAL after making the IMC Final! 🥈🏆
