It was great to have Nic and his wife Simone with us in Mauritius this year! Nic had previously done a Tassie East Coast tour with us and really thrived taking the next step in Mauritius. Here he describes some of his trip highlights, including the enabling factor of the double skis we have available for every paddle. After many years of ocean & surf club paddling Nic left the tour with new challenges and a renewed spark, sometimes tough to find at home but quickly brought to light in the Mauritian wind & waves.

How much fun was Winter Challenge Tas last weekend!? Here’s a few shots of the action including some of our paddling crew courtesy of 📷 Island Inspirations and 📷 Pete Harmsen. We thoroughly enjoyed helping you in the lead-up and loved seeing you all get through the tricky & windy conditions on the day. Congratulations and full steam ahead to the Freycinet Challenge in 7 weeks time!
Alongside socialising, racing, sponsoring, hiring out gear and getting around our paddlers the day went super quickly! A big thanks to Tim, Chappy and the organising crew as well as everyone involved with setting the course, volunteers, rescue personnel, plus fellow competitors & sponsors. A buzzing event with a great vibe…see you next year!
