Start Sailing 1 is learn to sail class for adults with little to no experience, held in Pacer Dinghies. The boats will have 1 instructor and 2 students, so you will get lots of support.
Beginning in October, the course will run on Monday afternoons 4:30-7:30, and on completion, depending on interest, there will be a chance to further your sailing interest with a level 2 program.
Can’t wait to see you then!

For those who couldn't make it to the AGM:
We have two new life members: Michael Bird for his work as the Bosun and fixing everything (as well as the amazing donation of our new rescue/start boat), and Malcolm McAully for his 16 years as club Treasurer.
We also have a new Commodore: Finlay Cooper. It will be very exciting to have a young head at the helm. Many thanks to immediate past Commodore, Grant Atherton who has taken on the job as Treasurer.
We still need a new Vice Commodore and Handicapper. These jobs can be broken down and maybe shared, but a volunteer club like ours needs volunteers in order to exist.

2026 AGM - Sunday 21st June, 2:30pm!
As always, Anne's famous scones will be on offer with cream and jam, pairing perfectly with a tea/coffee on these cold days.
As always, we have a handful of committee positions in need of filling, and the club could not work without the efforts of volunteers.
For a description of the duties, see:https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/site/raoniibq5tznpd0a.pdf
If you wish to discuss any potential role within the club, please don't be shy in asking questions
