As Suraj Sir prepares to bid farewell to Hobart and begin a new chapter, the NTSA family comes together to recognise and celebrate his remarkable contribution to our community.
Suraj Sir is one of the founding members of the Nepalese Tasmania Sports Association (NTSA) and currently serves as a Secretary. Through years of dedication, he has given his time, energy and passion to the growth of Nepalese sports and the wider community in Tasmania.
From the early days of building NTSA to organising and supporting sporting activities, bringing people together and creating opportunities for athletes, Suraj has played an important role in shaping the sporting community in Hobart.

His contribution extends beyond administration. Suraj Sir has proudly represented Tasmania at the Oceania Nepali Sports Meet (ONSM) 2023 in Canberra, where he won a Silver Medal in the All Ages Doubles Table Tennis event. ONSM 2023 brought together athletes from across Australia and New Zealand, with NTSA representing Tasmania.

His dedication, leadership, friendship and commitment have made a lasting difference. His contribution to our NTSA family and the sporting community in Tasmania will always be remembered and cherished.
As you move on from Hobart, we wish you every success, happiness and fulfilment in the journey ahead.
