Pro Shop Attendant

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join the team at Rossdale Golf Club as a Pro Shop Attendant.

Located in Melbourne's beautiful bayside region, Rossdale Golf Club is a progressive, member-focused golf club committed to delivering exceptional golfing experiences, premium customer service, and a welcoming club environment.

Whether you are an experienced retail or customer service professional or someone looking to begin a career in the golf industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team. Golfing experience is not essential, however a love of the game or an interest in golf would be highly regarded.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director of Golf, the Pro Shop Attendant will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop.

The successful applicant will have a positive, can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
- Process daily golf bookings, retail sales, and enquiries.
- Assist with the presentation and merchandising of the Pro Shop
- Assist with monthly stock take and inventory management.
- Help with new member inductions and welcoming new members to the club.
Assist with club events and competitions as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional Pro Shop environment.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- The ability to multitask in a busy customer-focused environment.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
- Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
An interest in golf or willingness to learn about the game.
