🏆 WORLD CUP FINALS WRAP-UP 🏆

What an incredible way to finish the inaugural Tasmania Indoor Cricket World Cup!

The Cricket Hub Tasmania was buzzing with excitement on finals day as Australia and Australia A battled it out for the championship. Australia delivered a strong all-round performance to claim the title, winning 98-59 and taking three of the four skins in a fantastic Grand Final.

The Bronze Medal match was another thriller, with India overcoming the Tasmania Ferns in a close and intense contest that kept spectators engaged right to the final ball.

Congratulations to our individual award winners:

🏅 Player of the Tournament – Morgan McGuire (+105)
🏅 Bowler of the Tournament – Morgan McGuire (15 wickets for -2 runs)
🏅 Batsman of the Tournament – Josh McAdie (131 runs)

These performances were a testament to the quality of cricket on display throughout the tournament.

More importantly, the tournament was about bringing communities together through a shared love of cricket. Over the past few weeks we've seen players from many different nations competing fiercely on court while building friendships and celebrating their cultures off it.

A huge thank you to every player, supporter, volunteer and sponsor who helped make this event such a success. The atmosphere throughout the tournament was outstanding and the centre was once again alive with energy, laughter and great cricket on finals day.

Congratulations to all teams, especially our champions Australia, and thank you for helping create an event that truly celebrated cricket, culture and community. 🌏🏏
