A great weekend exploring Mogo trails and surrounding areas in NSW. Fun trails, gentle climbs, dirt is grippy after rain, cafes and beaches are everywhere. We'll be back for sure.

A little appreciation post for a few tools we use very frequently in the workshop. Tools that are well made, simple to use, and save you from major headaches.
Quality hex and torx tools. Don't buy cheap and nasty ones and risk rounding out the screw heads on your bike. Colourful sets make it easier to quickly grab the right size. A little driver for tight spaces is handy as well.
Chain wear tool. Check your chain before it destroys the cassette and chain rings. Saves money on parts, especially on electric bikes.
Derailleur hanger alignment tool. These will save you from chasing your tail, trying to tune bent gears. Straighten the hanger, or effortlessly break it off. It was broken anyway, right?
Torque wrench. Especially important for carbon fibre parts. Don't crush nice things with your ham fists. Find out the torque range you'll need for your bikes first. Some suspension linkage hardware needs to be tightened in an anticlockwise direction, which isn't something all wrenches can do. Check before you buy.
Chain whip and cassette tool. Hopefully we never catch you spraying degreaser on your cassette, but if you must, at least remove it first. Get one with a 12mm pin if you have a through axle bike, especially if it has a SRAM XD cassette.
What did we forget?
