Our friends across the ditch have been in the midst of their Australian Little League Championships the last few days. 12 teams from different regions around Australia similar to our Auckland Allstars squad have been competing for the right to represent Australia at the Little League World Series in August. We visited one of those teams (Brisbane North) back in April. The Grand Final is today at 3:30pm NZ time and you can catch it live on https://plus.baseball.com.au. When you play Little League, you are participating in something global!!

The team had their final session today at Legacy Strength and Conditioning in Albany. We'd like to thank Matiu for his support in designing an age-appropriate program and making it loads of fun.

This year our team had record numbers of trialists, but did you know you have to be registered at an Auckland Baseball Association club and play in the regular season to be eligible? It's all part of Little League's philosophy of participation and fun. So if you have any friends interested in baseball, this could be their first step towards joining us in a future year's team.
