Welcome to the 2026/2027 season!

I am honored and excited to serve again as President of Redcliffe Padres Baseball Club this season

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who helped make 2025/2026 another great year. Thank you to the committee for their hard work, the coaches for your time mentoring our kids, our sponsors and all the other volunteers who help throughout the season.

With our amazing facilities and plans for further works and a strong financial and administrative base the future remains bright for our club.

I would like to welcome all members, new and old. This year will see the continued growth of Redcliffe Padres, with some very exciting times ahead.

IN A FEW WEEKS TIME WE WILL BE WELCOMING HARRISON TO THE PADRES FAMILY! ⚾❤️

Redcliffe Padres Baseball Club is excited to welcome Harrison to the club as one of our import players for the upcoming season!

To make his time in Australia unforgettable, we're reaching out to our amazing Padres community for a little help.

🏠 Could you host Harrison?

We're looking for a welcoming host family who can provide accommodation during the season. Hosting an import player is a fantastic experience for the whole family—you'll build lifelong friendships, learn about another culture, and become a huge part of Harrison's Australian baseball journey.

💰 There is a monetary incentive available to assist the host family, so you won't be doing it alone.

💼 Can you offer employment?

We're also seeking any local businesses or community members who may be able to offer Harrison casual or part-time work while he's here. Any opportunity, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

This is what community baseball is all about—coming together to support our club and help make Redcliffe Padres feel like home.

⚾️ School Baseball Trials Are Almost Here! ⚾️

It’s that time of year again! School Baseball Trials for students aged 14–18 years are coming up.

Your child should receive a trial notice and consent form through their school, but if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check with your school sports coordinator.

📍 Please note: The trial dates shown are for Sunshine Coast School Sport only.

If your child attends a school in another region, their trial dates may be different. Your school’s sports coordinator will have the correct trial information and consent forms for your region.

Good luck to everyone trialling—we hope to see plenty of talented young baseballers out on the diamond.

The Brisbane North Region (BNR) team is ready to represent Australia at the Senior League Baseball World Series in Easley, South Carolina! 🇦🇺

🏆 BNR earned their place on the world stage after defeating Ryde Red 6–2 to claim the Australian Senior League Championship.

They just never quit and it was all in display in this crazy walk-off comeback win.

Australia overcame a lot. There was 40°C heat, two five-run deficits, four stars forced from the game, down to our final strike.

The Emeralds battled through and walked off Canada in one of the wildest games you’ll ever see.

They trailed 3-0, 8-3 and 12-7 at various points in the game. In fact, they never led until the final moment of the game.

Some quick notes:

👏 Elodie O’Sullivan delivered the walk-off.

⚾ Molly Paddison tied the game twice with a two-run homer in the first and a two-out, two-strike RBI single in the last

💥 Caitlin Eynon launched a grand slam

🤯 Leah Cornish was ridiculous with three hits, two great foul territory catches, and a shutout inning pitched.

Australia finishes the group stage 4-1 and is heading to the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals.

“That is one of the gutsiest wins I have ever been apart of. We just had this next woman up mentality. I could not be prouder of this group and prouder to be an Australian today,” said manager Jason Pospishil after the game.

This team just refuses to quit. It’s so awesome.

This weekend, the Padres are proud to be co-hosting the Softball Queensland Masters – one of the biggest events on our club calendar!
Events like this are incredibly important to our club, generating valuable revenue that helps us continue to grow, improve our facilities, and support our players. But we can't do it without you.

💪 We're calling on our Red Army for a few hours of your time.
We're not asking you to give up your whole day – even a couple of hours would make a huge difference.

Whether you can:
🌭 Cook on the BBQ
🍔 Help prepare food
📦 Pack orders
🥤 Serve drinks
💰 Take canteen orders
..every helping hand counts.

This is our club, and together we make it what it is. Let's show everyone what the Padres community is all about.
