Peninsula Power FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Kostandas as General Manager! ✍️
Bill brings more than 15 years of senior executive experience in Australian football, having held Chief Executive and General Manager roles with football associations and state governing bodies. His career has given him a broad understanding of the sport, from grassroots and community football through to elite competition.
Club President Craig Feuerriegel said “The appointment of a General Manager marks an exciting and significant step forward for Peninsula Power FC. Bill's extensive experience will provide strategic direction for the club’s broader plans to enhance its competitive standing in Queensland football and further strengthen its ties within the local football community.”
Bill has led Eastern Suburbs Football Association, Blacktown & District Soccer Football Association, Football South Coast, Football Federation Northern Territory and Macarthur District Football Association. He was the founding Chief Executive of both Football South Coast and Macarthur District Football Association.
He has also held a senior football competitions role with Football NSW, overseeing elite and community football and futsal competitions, as well as referees and judiciary matters. His experience spans strategic planning, governance, financial management and operational leadership, alongside revenue generation, commercial partnerships, sponsorship and membership growth. He has also worked extensively in organisational development, stakeholder engagement and facilities development, with a strong track record of identifying growth opportunities, improving organisational performance and building productive relationships.
Bill holds an MBA, a Graduate Certificate in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science, combining formal qualifications with extensive practical experience leading football organisations.
