2026 KWRFC MAJOR RAFFLE – MEET OUR LUCKY WINNERS! 🚗🎉
I've had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with all three of our 2026 Major Raffle winners, and what a wonderful experience it has been hearing their stories and seeing the excitement that this raffle has brought!
🥇 1ST PRIZE – ROMANA | BRAND NEW ISUZU MU-X 🚗
Today, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Romana and her family as she collected the keys to her BRAND NEW ISUZU MU-X!
Romana's car was 23 years young and well and truly due for an upgrade!
This is one story that I'm sure Romana and her family will cherish for many years to come. ❤️
While sitting with her dad, who has since sadly passed away, her sister suggested she buy a ticket in our Major Raffle. Romana tried to purchase one at the time, but unfortunately, it wouldn't go through.
As the days went by, she kept seeing our Facebook posts reminding everyone that time was running out to grab a ticket.
With just TWO DAYS LEFT, Romana decided to give it another go and purchased her ticket for $100.
Little did she know that one decision was about to change everything!
On the day of our raffle draw, Romana was enjoying a lovely weekend away with her husband Greg when her phone started ringing. Multiple calls from family members and our club came through with the incredible news that she had WON!
Understandably, Romana was overwhelmed with emotion and couldn't quite believe it. She shared that she truly believes her dad was looking out for her. ❤️
Seeing her excitement and hearing her story was a beautiful reminder of why we decided to take a chance and run something this big for our club.
Congratulations again to Romana and Greg. We hope you enjoy every moment and make many wonderful memories in your new car!
🥈 2ND PRIZE – VICKIE & SHANE O'HEHIR | $5,000 HOLIDAY ✈️🌏
Our lucky second prize winners, Vickie and Shane, have actually already embarked on an overseas adventure to England to visit family!
But thanks to their $100 raffle ticket, they've now got another $5,000 to put towards their next holiday!
Talk about keeping the holidays rolling! 😂
Congratulations to you both. We can't wait to hear where your next adventure takes you!
🥉 3RD PRIZE – SARAH COCHRANE | $2,000 VOUCHER 🎁
Our third prize winner, Sarah, is a Koo Wee Rup local and part of our junior football club community!
It's always wonderful to see one of our own local families take home a prize, and we're so pleased Sarah gets to enjoy a $2,000 voucher, all from purchasing a $100 ticket!
Congratulations, Sarah!
🔵🔴 MORE THAN JUST A RAFFLE 🔵🔴
When we first decided to take on a Major Raffle of this size, we knew it was a big undertaking for our club.
But stories like these make it all worthwhile.
Every single person who purchased a ticket didn't just give themselves a chance to win an incredible prize. You helped support the future of the Koo Wee Rup Football & Netball Club.
The money raised goes straight back into our club, helping us improve our facilities, support our growing football and netball community, and continue building something special for future generations.
To our three winners, congratulations once again! And to every single person who purchased a ticket, shared our posts, helped sell tickets, sponsored the raffle or supported us along the way — THANK YOU!
A special thank you to Pakenham Isuzu UTE and Pedders Pakenham for their support in helping make this incredible raffle possible.
This is what community is all about. ❤️💙
ONE CLUB. ONE COMMUNITY.
