After a massive morning of youth football, the 2026 Newcastle Permanent Community Grand Finals continue into the afternoon with the Tamworth Women’s League Grand Finals! 🙌

Head down to Gipps Street and catch all the action across GA6 and Johnson Field as six teams battle it out for Grand Final glory!

🏆 2026 MINOR PREMIERS 🏆
Women’s 2nd Division

Our women have finished the season as 2026 Minor Premiers, second year in a row! Sitting proudly at the top of the table — and finishing Phase 3 UNDEFEATED.

Not a bad way to wrap up the season. 💜💛

There’s been questionable decisions, too many own goals from our backs, clean sheets for our goalie, sore bodies, sore heads, plenty of laughs and probably enough sideline commentary to fill another team.
But most importantly, there’s been a bloody good group of women who have continued to show up, work hard and back each other all season.

Minor Premiers though…
And yes, we are absolutely going to mention that every chance we get. 😂

Congratulations to our players, coach, managers, volunteers and everyone who has supported this team throughout the season.

One more job to do. GRAND FINAL!
Be sure to show up in all your purple cheering our girls on for the big finish.
Our only KDFC team to make a final. Let’s show them how proud we are!!!

💜💛 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO OUR KOUGAR DADS! 💛💜

Today we celebrate all the incredible dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures and caregivers who do so much for our players both on and off the field. ⚽️

To the dads who coach, cheer, drive, volunteer, support, teach, encourage and inspire… thank you! 👏

Thank you for the early mornings, the late afternoons, the countless trips to training and games, the muddy boots, the washed jerseys, the snacks packed, the balls kicked around in the backyard and for always being there on the sidelines cheering the loudest. 💜

But most importantly, thank you for being their biggest fans and their greatest role models. 💜

To every Kougar dad and father figure, we appreciate you today and every day.

We hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day filled with plenty of love, laughter and maybe even a little football? ⚽️

Celebrating our competitive age groups U12s & up.

The season may be coming to an end, but before we hang up the boots, it’s time to celebrate the people who made 2026 one to remember!

Join us for our Youth & Senior Presentation Night as we come together to recognise and celebrate our incredible players, coaches, managers, volunteers and supporters.

From the first kick of the season to the final whistle, there have been plenty of wins, losses, laughs, challenges, celebrations and moments that reminded us why we love this club so much.

🏆 We’ll celebrate the achievements of our players.
👏 Recognise the dedication of our coaches and managers.
💜 Thank the volunteers who keep everything running behind the scenes.
🙌 And celebrate the families, friends and supporters who show up week after week.

For our Youth players, this is a chance to look back on how much they’ve grown — not just as footballers, but as teammates and young people.

For our Senior players, it’s time to celebrate another season of representing the purple, the friendships made, the battles fought and everything that comes with pulling on the Kougars jersey.

And for everyone who has contributed to the club this year — this celebration is for you too. 💜

It’s time to celebrate our littlest Kougars!

After another incredible season of football, we’re bringing our junior players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families together for a very special day celebrating everything that makes our junior club so great.

JUNIOR PRESENTATION
Come along as we celebrate every single one of our junior players and recognise the effort, improvement, teamwork, sportsmanship and memories they’ve created throughout the season.

From those taking their first steps onto the football field, to the kids who have grown in confidence and skills throughout the year, every player has something to be proud of!

Then once the trophies have been handed out… IT’S TIME TO PARTY!

JUNIOR DISCO
Get ready for music, dancing, laughs and plenty of fun as we turn presentation day into a party! Bring your best dance moves, your biggest smiles and your energy because we’re going to celebrate the end of the season Kougar style!

This is a day for our junior players and their families to come together, celebrate the season and make some more memories off the field.

A HUGE thank you to every player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent, grandparent, carer and supporter who has played a part in our junior season. Football doesn’t happen without the people behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for every one of you.

Do you know an absolute legend? A stand out club member?
Do they always put their hand up to help out the committee?

We’re calling on our Kougar community to nominate someone who deserves to be recognised for their talent, commitment, contribution, character — or simply for creating one of those unforgettable moments we’ll be talking about for years to come!
