WE DONâT EXERCISE TO PUNISH OUR BODIES. WE TRAIN SO WE CAN USE THEM.
We train to feel strong carrying the groceries, playing with our kids and getting up from the floor.
We train for healthier bones, stronger muscles, more energy and the confidence to say yes to things outside the gym.
We train so a walk, hike, fun run or active holiday feels possible not intimidating.
Yes, our sessions can be challenging. We want you to improve and discover what your body can do. But training shouldnât leave you feeling broken or as though youâre being punished for something you ate.
At Sunny Coast Bootcamp, our week includes strength training, cardio, interval sessions and an optional Run Club. Some members run, others jog or walk and all of it counts.
This photo captures a big part of who we are. We train together, but we also get outdoors, try new things and enjoy the fitness weâve worked hard to build.
Our next 12-week block begins 28 September.
If youâre ready to build a body that supports the life you want to live, send me a message about our one-week free trial. đżđ
Itâs never just about the workout đ
On Saturday afternoon, we swapped the dumbbells for drinks, nibbles and lawn games and got together at Picnic Point for a Sunny Coast Bootcamp social.
And afternoons like this are such a good reminder of what weâre really building here.
Yes, people join us to get fitter and stronger. But somewhere along the way, something else happens too.
You learn peopleâs names. You have a laugh before the session starts. You notice when someone hasnât been there. You celebrate each otherâs wins. And before you know it, youâve made new friends and become part of a community.
As adults, those opportunities to meet new people and genuinely connect donât always come easily and itâs something we really value at Sunny Coast Bootcamp.
You might join us for the exercise⊠but you get so much more than that. đ
Thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday. We loved spending the afternoon with you and judging by the laughs and competitiveness in the lawn games, we think you had a pretty good time too đ

âIâD LOVE TO JOIN, BUT I NEED TO GET A LITTLE FITTER FIRST.â
We hear this all the time but getting fitter is the reason you come to us. It isnât something you have to achieve before youâre allowed to begin.
You donât need to know how to lift weights.
You donât need to be able to run.
You donât need the newest activewear.
You donât need to keep up with anyone else.
You simply start where you are.
Every exercise can be adjusted to suit your current fitness, confidence and experience. Weâll teach you how to move, help you choose suitable weights and gradually progress you as you become stronger.
The hardest part is usually arriving at that first session. Once youâre there, youâll quickly realise that everyone is focused on their own workout and theyâre far more likely to encourage you than judge you.
Our Term 4 block runs from 28 September to 18 December, and weâre offering a one-week free trial so you can experience the sessions before making any commitment.
Maybe you donât need more time to get ready.
Maybe you just need the right place to begin. đ
Send me a message and Iâll help you organise your trial.

PEOPLE OFTEN JOIN FOR THE TRAINING but the community is usually why they stay.
Of course, we care about good programming, safe technique and helping our members become genuinely stronger and fitter.
But we also care about people.
We know when someone has been away. We celebrate progress that might seem small to somebody else. We modify sessions around injuries, check in when life becomes difficult and make room for plenty of laughs along the way.
Our members train together, attend Run Club, enter events, go for walks and sometimes bring the dogs along too.
You donât have to be loud or naturally confident to fit in. You donât need to know anyone before you arrive. Youâll simply find a group of normal, welcoming people who remember exactly what it felt like to be new.
If youâve struggled to remain consistent on your own, the answer may not be more willpower.
It may be finding people who make showing up easier.
Our Term 4 block runs from 28 September to 18 December, and weâd love to welcome a few new faces into our community.
Message me to organise your one-week free trial. đ

WHAT IF BOOTCAMP ISNâT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS?
We know the word bootcamp can sound intimidating.
You might picture someone shouting at you, endless burpees, keeping up with the fittest person there and feeling completely out of place.
That isnât what we do.
Sunny Coast Bootcamp is about helping everyday people become stronger and fitter in a way that is challenging, supportive and genuinely enjoyable.
Some of our members love lifting heavy. Some are returning after years without exercise. Some run, some walk and some need movements adjusted around injuries.
Everyone trains at their own level but we all train together.
Youâll receive experienced coaching, structured workouts and plenty of guidance. Youâll also be surrounded by people who encourage you, laugh with you and notice when you arenât there.
Our final 12-week training block for 2026 begins 28 September, and one-week free trials are happening now.
Message me if youâd like to come and experience what we actually do. You may be surprised by how welcome you feel. đ

Sunny Coast Bootcamp
You donât have to nail every week. đ
Some weeks you train 4 times.
Some weeks you manage once.
Some weeks the kids are doing your head in, work is crazy, youâre tired and everything feels harder than it should đ
Thatâs life.
One thing we really try to teach at Sunny Coast Bootcamp is to stop looking at exercise as something you either do perfectly⊠or youâve failed at.
Just keep coming back.
One session is better than none.
A walk still counts.
Rest when you need it.
Then start again next week.
Fitness isnât built from perfect weeks.
Itâs built from doing this stuff for YEARS â through all the different seasons of life.
Happy Friday âïž

đ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT â RHODA đ
One year ago, Rhoda says she couldnât have run 2km without stopping.
Two weeks ago, she completed her very first fun run and ran the entire 2km without stopping! đ
But the biggest victory isnât only the run. Itâs the confidence Rhoda has built along the way.
When she first found Sunny Coast Bootcamp on Facebook, there was plenty of âumming and ahhingâ before she finally sent me a message.
After several years of big life changes, exercise had fallen away. She was feeling sluggish, tired and knew that, as she approached 60, something needed to change.
Her biggest hurdle wasnât the workouts it was finding the confidence to turn up.
âI had a lot of nerves and anxiety at the start. I wasnât confident that Iâd be able to do the exercises.â
But Rhoda kept showing up.
Week after week, that consistency began to add up.
đȘ She became stronger
đȘ She built more stamina
đȘ Everyday jobs became easier
đȘ Most importantly, she developed an âI CAN do thisâ attitude
That attitude carried her across the finish line of her first fun run and inspired several other members to put their hands up for their first event next year!
Rhodaâs advice to anyone feeling nervous about starting?
âJust do it. Work at your own pace. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.â
Rhoda, we are SO proud of you. Youâve shown our whole community what can happen when you take that first step and keep showing up â€ïž
If youâve been thinking about starting but feel nervous or unsure, Rhoda felt exactly the same.
Send me a message and come along for a trialâyou might be surprised by what you can do.
