2025/26 Season Review - Diamond Bay Motorsport

The 2025/26 season for Diamond Bay Motorsport was truly something special. Inconsistency in drivers and a constantly shifting schedule were two challenges in our path, but through faith, determination and passion the entire team worked tirelessly to improve at every opportunity. From having Australian sprintcar legend Kerry Madsen, to one of Australia's leading talents Lachlan McHugh, to bringing back a true hero of the sport in Luke Dillon, to keeping the Williamson Motorsport dream alive - offering Callum the opportunity to race the W26 and stay in his points position in the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series. Every driver played an important role in our journey this season

None of this would be possible without the incredible commitment, investment and passion from Paul and Steve Stathy. Their dedication to the team continues to drive Diamond Bay Motorsport forward.

The crew worked extremely hard this season, so credit must go to Joshua Clayton, Brady Buswell and Cameron Stathy. We have had this same crew for over five seasons, and we couldn't ask for a better group of people!

Grand Final Success!

Diamond Bay Motorsport and Callum Williamson reunited for one final outing in the 2025/26 season at the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series Grand Final—and it was a strong way to close out the year.

The night began on a high for the Geotech, Devil Race Karts W26, with Williamson qualifying fourth fastest in Group 3, securing pole position for Heat 3.

Williamson delivered a commanding performance in the heat race, leading all eight laps and crossing the line with a convincing four-second margin over second place.

Lining up fourth in the B Dash, Williamson wasted no time moving forward in the six-lap sprint, charging to second by lap two and holding position through to the finish.

That result placed the Bunbury-based team fourth on the grid for the 30-lap feature event. A strong start saw Williamson surge into second by lap two, immediately putting pressure on the race leader. On lap 17, an attempted move for the lead didn’t quite come off, costing valuable momentum and allowing a rival to slip past on the following lap. Despite the setback, Williamson regrouped to bring the W26 home in a solid third-place finish—capping off the season on the podium.
