While we are all eagerly awaiting the repair work at the Perth Motorplex and the Supra is off at the day spa for some well earned r&r I thought we would introduce a new car into our stable. This Celica was once a well know race car back in its day supporting a turbo 1uz and was even featured on the front cover of Zoom magazine. It has since been a big diet and is now a full chassis car that is going to have up front a very healthy 2jz. These pictures are of today when it came off the chassis jig for the very first time. Russell Batley with a huge launch in the JZA80 Supra at last nights test and tune ahead of the weekends Electrical Group Training 54th Annual Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex.

Despite a shower of sparks on the landing, Russell was back out again later in the night, with the car still looking to be tracking straight and ready to race for the weekend.

Locked and loaded for the night of fire at the Motorplex tomorrow. See you all down there.

Look out Adelaide we are getting the Supra ready to race at the bend for the upcoming Jamboree on Saturday 5th October.

Finally dusting the Supra off for some racing. Bring on the 53rd Western Nationals
