The QN Hotel has been a major sponsor of Laidley Golf Club for many years, and on behalf of our members we extend our sympathy and condolences in the death of Mr. Michael Pomer.
Michael was the father of our local publican Alex, and father in law to Emily, who run the Q/N Hotel in town. His funeral will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Laidley, from 11.30 am, on Thursday the 10th of September. Followed by his wake to be held at the Q/N Hotel.

This Saturday, 29th August, we are playing a Canadian Foursomes Event with trophies donated by Cameron Panzram & Bruno Maugeri.
Cameron and Bruno have sponsored this event for many years now, and it is always a wonderful day. There are 2 Divisions: Men & Mixed. Spots are still available on the timesheet - visitors most welcome, contact the Clubhouse on (07) 5465 1518. Members go to the timesheets and put your name down.

Congratulations to Garry Hulett from Laidley Golf Club. Garry won the Ipswich District Vets Assoc. 36 Hole Championships today at Gailes. He was named the nett winner with rounds of 71 & 71.
Congratulations also, to Cheryl Sternberg who was the gross winner.

Yesterday the Men played their 30 Hole Foursomes for 2026.
