🚤 SEASON OPENER — THIS THURSDAY 24TH! 🎉

We’re kicking off the 2026/27 season at the Ski Club this Thursday, and everyone’s invited!

🏄‍♂️ Slalom Course Lessons — from 1pm
We still have a few spots available, so get in quick!
Lessons are FREE for paid-up LBWSC members for the 2026/27 season.

🔥 BBQ Dinner — from 5pm
Thanks to generous donations from Doey's Meats and Bakers Delight we’ll be firing up the BBQ for dinner.

🚤 Bring your boats and come down for a fun afternoon on the water!

A huge congratulations to Kelly Atkinson who represented our club, and Australia for that matter, this week at the Over 35 World Water Ski Championships in Calgary, Canada 🇨🇦

With 250 elite athletes competing, from 20 different countries, Kelly mixed it with the worlds best in trick and slalom.
Her score of 4.5 @ 14 metres in slalom, a few buoys off her PB, saw her just miss out on finals.

We’re all extremely proud Kelly, and looking forward to seeing you back in action on Boga soon!

🔥 LBWSC Takes On Nationals – And Delivers 🔥

Easter Weekend saw 9 LBWSC skiers proudly represent Victoria at the 2026 Malibu Australian Championships at Max Kirwan Ski Park, Mulwala… and what a weekend it was 💪

Lake Boga showed it can mix it with the best in the country, playing a huge role in bringing home the Beynon Shield 🏆 — awarded to the top-performing state across the Nationals.
Even better… it’s the first time Victoria has taken it out in nearly 10 years! 🙌
Massive credit to Water Ski Victoria for putting on a top-class event.

👏 Huge shoutout to Kelly Atkinson & Toby Gilmour for their Thursday night coaching sessions across the summer. The improvement was unreal — and more importantly, the kids had an absolute blast doing it.
