The Lake Illawarra Cricket Club is saddened to hear of the passing of former Laker, Glenn Lelli.

Cap #231, Glenn made his First Grade debut for the Lakers in 1980 and went on to play 132 First Grade games, scoring 2647 runs for the club.

Those numbers place Glenn 13th on the Lakers’ all-time First Grade run scorers list, and he remains one of only 25 players to have played more than 100 First Grade games for Lake Illawarra.

A significant part of our club’s history, Glenn’s contribution to the Lakers will be remembered.

Our thoughts are with Glenn’s family, friends and former teammates at this sad time.

Vale Lells. 💙💛
