Ali Khairbak

A young and exciting halfback ready to take the next step in his football journey with Lalor Football Club.

At just 21 years of age, Ali brings senior football experience and a strong hunger to compete. A composed and competitive halfback, Ali is known for his ability to read the play, defend strongly and provide drive out of the backline.

Ali played under senior coach, JJ Cristaudo, in the 2025 Reserves Grand Final, before making the move into senior football in 2026. He also produced one of the moments of the season, slotting a spectacular 75-metre goal in the Grand Final.

Now reunited with JJ at Lalor, Ali is ready to bring his energy, toughness and football ability to the sleeping giant.

Eric Cristaudo

A quick and dazzling midfielder/half back with an eagerness to take this club to the next level, Eric has great leadership qualities and loves bringing out the best in others.

Eric comes to Lalor with plenty of senior football experience and knowledge, Eric has competed at the highest level having several years of playing and coaching at senior level.

With a strong focus on culture, player development and success. Eric brings a winning mentality and a hunger for success.

Eric will also be signing on as a assistant coach to his brother Jj.
We are so excited to have Eric on board this year and can’t wait to see what he brings to the table!

JJ comes to Lalor with plenty of coaching experience, at only 26 years of age he has spent several years coaching at senior level and developing players both on and off the field.

With a strong focus on culture, player development, accountability and playing an exciting brand of football, JJ is ready to build something special at Lalor.

Grand Final heartbreak 💔🏐

Unfortunately, our Lalor Netballers fell just short in today’s Grand Final, going down to Macleod 24–19.

It wasn’t the ending we were hoping for, but we couldn’t be prouder of this group and everything they achieved throughout the season. ❤️🤍

A massive thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who backed the girls every step of the way.

Not champions today, but still an incredible season to be proud of.

The girls finished the regular season in 4th place with a 9–7 record, earning their spot in the finals and setting up an incredible run.

🏐 Semi Final:
Lalor defeated Bundoora 6 — 35–23

🏐 Preliminary Final:
Lalor defeated Old Eltham — 29–21
