I couldn’t be more proud of all our academy players who entered Saturdays NSTA Primary School Tennis Doubles Challenge.
As always our teams represented Mowbray admirably on and off the court and gained valuable matchplay experience in the fun environment this challenge provides each and every term.
Alongside Term 4’s doubles challenge Mowbray qualified into the masters event with our strong performances over this calendar year where we had the difficult task of choosing only 3 of our top performing teams to challenge for best tennis school of the year!
At the masters we tied with the eventual winners with 2 Gold Medals & 1 Silver which resulted in a count back on games (not matches) won and lost which is where we were narrowly pipped to the title. So so close!
None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for all our teams performances throughout the entire year and of course our amazing coaches who do such an fantastic job during our training sessions. 👏🏼👏🏼🎾🙌🏼
We go again next year! 💪🏼
