Lara United FC The official Lara United Football Club page. Lara United FC is an inclusive club welcoming everyone! In year one there was one team.

We now have female friendly changerooms, social rooms and brand new lights. We have a family friendly club and will looking forward to seeing you down at the club during Season 2022. Lara United FC was formerly the Lara Soccer Section of the Lara Sporting Club (Lara SC) was founded in 1999 by a small but dedicated group of parents who wanted somewhere for their kids to play soccer locally. Over the years, with many, many hours of work from a few dedicated and committed volunteers, the club has grown to what it is today and with the support of its members will continue to grow in the Geelong region.

The Annual General Meeting is being held at the Lara United FC Clubrooms on Friday 16 October 2026 at 7:00pm.

The executive positions available are as follows:

President
Secretary

All general committee roles are vacant.

The club requires volunteers for the following roles:

Vice President
Sponsorship Manager
Registrars - Seniors, Juniors & Miniroos
Canteen Manager
Social Media Coordinator - Senior, Junior & Miniroos
Miniroos Coordinator - Under 7s, 9's & 11's.
Junior Coordinator - U13 Boys, Under 13 Girls, U15 Boys, Under 15 Girls
Equipment Manager - Sports equipment and first aid
Volunteer Coordinator
Fundraising and Functions Coordinator

If the club is to continue to function as the current capacity of players, we must have these roles filled. If not, then we will be forced to reduce our playing numbers to match our volunteer numbers.

Lara United FC is a community based club which is run by volunteers.

All nominations must be received by Wednesday, 14 October 2026 to [email protected]

Congratulations to our Under 13 White boys team - they have made it to the finals with an outstanding year.

They are the top of the ladder with 13 wins and 1 loss.

Coached by Laurie and Chris - these boys are on track to bring home the title!

The team has many great people supporting them including their manager Courtney. Let’s get around the boys and support them as they look to finish off the season.

Head down to Myers Reserve on Sunday to support the team.
