Huge first day of Tournament!

Congratulations to Men’s Doubles Champions Fredrik Collyer & Cliff Seery, winning the final against Mark and Peter Bray.
🏆

Men’s Singles Final is scheduled for Sunday morning, upon conclusion of AGM, with our top two seeds making it through: Fredrik Collyer vs Daniel Tiedtke.

The 1-point slam - open to all members including juniors - kicks off from 10am.
🎾

10:30am marks start time for an important AGM that will discuss summer plans while courts are being refurbished. All members encouraged to attend.

And reminder : we’re still seeking support to fill the important role of Club Secretary.

AGM is a great place to find out more about your club, and how you can best support the only competitive tennis club for seniors and juniors on the LeFevre Peninsula.

🚨 BIG COUPLE OF WEEKS COMING UP AT PORT ADELAIDE TENNIS CLUB! 🚨

Our AGM is now only two weeks away — 10:30am Sunday 13 September — and we’d love to see as many members and supporters involved as possible.

A big focus heading into the AGM is finding someone to step into the Club Secretary role. It’s an important role, but it’s supported, manageable, and a genuinely valuable way to help keep the club moving forward.

The Club Tournament is also locked in for 12 and 13 September, the same weekend as the AGM. Details on how to sign up will be coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Players, parents, grandparents, family members, friends, former players and community supporters are all welcome to get involved.

Interested or curious? Speak with any current committee member. 🎾

Port Adelaide Tennis Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Steven Moffatt.

Steve was a valued supporter and sponsor of our club through Ray White Semaphore, and a much-loved figure across the wider Port Adelaide community.

We extend our sincere condolences to Steve’s family and friends.
We encourage members to join our neighbours at Port District Football Club tonight from 5pm, who are raising a glass to remember Steve and his contributions.

Vale Steve.

🚧👷‍♂️💡 LIGHTING UPGRADE COMMENCES THIS WEEK! 💡👷‍♀️🚧

Exciting news for Port Adelaide Tennis Club!

Work begins Wednesday on our long-awaited LED court lighting upgrade. This is a major improvement for the club and will provide brighter, more energy efficient lighting for night tennis and we thank City of Port Adelaide Enfield for their ongoing support.

⚠️ Please note:
The tennis courts will be CLOSED from Wednesday 5 August to Friday 7 August (inclusive) while the installation is completed.

There will be no court access during this period for member bookings or social play. All coaching sessions will be held on nearby courts (Kevin will advise), and Junior comp is unaffected (Friday night team away; Saturday as per normal).

We appreciate everyone’s patience while the works are carried out and can’t wait to welcome everyone back under our new lights from Saturday.
