⛵ What a fantastic Opening Day at Largs Bay Sailing Club! 🎉

A wonderful way to kick off our 99th sailing season! It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, welcome back our long-time members and greet our newest members.

A very special highlight was the christening of our new rescue boat, The John Woollatt, named in honour of our much-loved member John Woollatt, who recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Australian Sailing SA. What a fitting tribute! 👏

We also celebrated the christening of our youngest sailor’s new boat, “Let It Go! “⛵❄️

A huge thank you to all our members, families, friends and visiting dignitaries who joined us and helped make the day so special.

Here’s to another fantastic season of sailing, friendship and community at Largs! ❤️🤍⛵
