Do you love your Spotify account? The Australian Financial Crimes Exchange reports scammers targeting Spotify users via email claiming that their subscription payment has failed.
The email directs users to a cloned website designed to capture login credentials, personal information and payment details.
Once information is captured, it can be used for account compromise, unauthorised transactions or further impersonation attempts.
Stop if you get an unexpected message from your music platform.
Check the message is legitimate before you do anything.

This Book Week, every story has something to teach us.
Whether it's saving for something special, sharing with others or making thoughtful choices, stories can help children build confidence with money long before they have a bank account.
That's exactly why we created Big Plans—because sometimes the best lessons begin with a great story.
Big Plans is a story-driven online game that teaches kids about money through the adventures of Izzy and her friends as they prepare for the annual show. Independent readers can work through the story themselves, while younger readers can enjoy it with help from a parent or carer.
Download for free from your app store. Visit our website to find out more.
