What a privilege to attend the inaugural 2026 Asia Pacific Osteopathic Summit at Cape Schanck đż
To be surrounded by 235 osteopaths; past colleagues, mentors, and passionate practitioners, was incredibly special.
A weekend filled with connection, learning, and shared purpose. The kind of energy that reminds you why you chose this profession in the first place.
There was something powerful in celebrating our history, our teachers, and the evolution of osteopathyâwhile also expanding our skills and perspectives for the future. The passion in the room was undeniable⌠and truly contagious.
A âcup-fillingâ weekend that reignited pride in what we do, and a deep appreciation for how much more there is to learn. Because in this profession, growth really is infinite.
Grateful to the organisers, the speakers, and everyone who contributed to such a meaningful experience â¨
Now, to bring it all back to the clinic; sharing, evolving, and continuing to elevate the care we provide đ¤

â¨New at Bodyfocus â¨
Weâre now stocking two collagen supplements from Designs for Health in-clinic, carefully selected by Sarah Hargrave (Osteopath & Naturopath).
đżWhole Body Collagen
A premium collagen blend designed to support overall health and wellbeing.
đżComplete Joint Collagen
A collagen formula with added turmeric extract, designed for those seeking extra nutritional support for their joints and connective tissues.
Why we might recommend these:
Collagen supplements may be considered for people who are interested in supporting:
The general health of their joints, tendons and ligaments
Their connective tissue integrity alongside movement and lifestyle strategies
Overall wellbeing as part of a holistic approach to care
Both products are practitioner-only, which means they are available to our patients following a consultation and recommendation from one of our practitioners.
If youâre curious, ask your Osteopath at your next appointment to see if these may be suitable for you.

Neck Pain? Youâre Not Alone.
Ever felt likeâŚ
âď¸ Your neck is stiff or sore after working at your desk, scrolling on your phone, or just waking up?
âď¸ Tension spreads into your shoulders, upper back, or even causes headaches?
âď¸Your neck just doesnât feel âright,â even though thereâs no obvious injury?
Neck pain is something most of us experience at some point. Often it eases within a few days, but sometimes it lingersâand thatâs where we can help.
Whatâs behind it?
⢠Long hours at a desk or screen
⢠Stress and muscle tension
⢠âTech neckâ from looking down at devices

⢠Share simple, practical tipsâlike stretches, posture adjustments, and ergonomic advice
⢠Consider how your whole body is working together, not just your neck

Osteopaths, Luka Di Fabio and Sarah Hargrave, recently travelled to Melbourne to complete a course in the assessment and management of concussion.
Theyâve returned with the latest research and practical tools to help support clients recovering from head knocks, sports-related injuries, and post-concussion symptoms.
Common Signs and Symptoms of Concussion:
Symptoms can appear immediately or hours after the injury and may include:
đ¸Headache
đ¸Dizziness or balance issues
đ¸Fatigue or drowsiness
đ¸Difficulty concentrating
đ¸Memory disturbances or amnesia
đ¸Slurred or incoherent speech
đ¸Physical incoordination
While many people recover from a concussion within 2â4 weeks, around 35% experience persistent symptoms. This condition is known as Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and can significantly affect daily activities, work, and quality of life if left unaddressed.
If you or someone you know is still feeling the effects of a concussion, weâd love to help.
