Australian Orienteering Championships

The Xanthorrhoea Trophy is a state competition based on the results of the Australian Relay Championships. After a review of the relay results it was found that the Australian Capital Territory had in fact taken the trophy by 1 point over New South Wales.

Start times are now available on Eventor for the Tasmanian Sprint Distance Championships on Saturday at Sorell School and the Tasmanian Middle Distance Championships on Sunday at Pittwater Dunes East. OA Shield
The OA Shield is a state competition based on the results of the Australian Long Distance Championships. This year the winner was New South Wales after a recount of results.
Congratulations New South Wales.
The event organisers apologise for the error and will ensure the OA Shield gets to Orienteering New South Wales.

For W & M 10s don't forget to stick around to pick up the last pack of the orienteering set tomorrow. For anyone wondering... the sets are the brain child of the AOC prize designers. What started as a simple idea evolved into a very complex Lego order, lots of sorting, sealing, folding, 3d printing, sticking and glueing. We hope the kids like them! Unfortunately we are sorry to say that we don't have any spares.

THE HOBBIT TOUR MEETING
4pm Friday 3 April beside the Registration Tent at AOC after the Sprint event.

This tour takes place New Zealand 30 May – 1 June
Meeting is for ALL registered and prospective Hobbiters.

• U18 competitors:
Parent/guardian must collect bibs and sign the permission form
• 18+ competitors:
Complete your own consent form at collection
• Bib collection is individual - each competitor (or parent/guardian for U18s) must collect their own bib

🏕️ Packing for Easter Camping – Important Info

The final bulletin includes a link to the full camping information that’s already been emailed to all registered campers. Please have a read before you arrive — it’ll make setup much smoother.

The Fingal Valley is forecast to hit 4–5°C overnight on Friday and Saturday. Pack your warm layers, extra bedding, and anything that keeps you cosy.
