Good catches of calamari are reported in southern waters and Georges Bay. Now is a good time to check your squid gear get ready for a bash at them before forthcoming closures. Also check those squid scaler bags for strength as those purchased some years ago may be getting near their use by date. FUJIMARU jigs available in supporting Tassie tackle stores and selected BCF stores.

With the help of John Stanfield we have been successfully testing this new blue Sniper reptile series lure. This lure should be in your favourite tackle store late July. If desirable pre order it and they will put lures aside as they arrive. ( these lures are hydro dipped and really brighten up in the water)
