A reminder to all members that memberships are now due for renewal

Sadly today we learned of the passing of one of our older members. Margaret Gillies was a competitor, official and dedicated supporter of the club. Margaret was treasurer of the club for awhile, enjoyed racing the purple XU1 Torana, officiating at rallies and being an official at Symmons Plains. Our sympathies with her son David and her family. Gone to help build up motorsport in another place.

Australian motorsport legend Allan Moffat has passed away.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends

What a great weekend, the weather gods were good to us(well it was cold but not wet).
A huge thankyou to our amazing volunteer officials who braved the wind and cold and did an amazing job so we could go racing.
Congratulations to all the competitors it was an brilliant weekend with some absolutely great competition.
Good luck to everyone at the next round.

New training courses available for eager Tasmanian officials Motorsport Australia is providing various Tasmanian-based officials training courses at Symmons Plains Raceway, starting later this month. The courses will take place on Sunday 24 August, catering to officials with a range of experience levels; covering areas such as Fire & Rescue Training, Flag Mar...

A huge thank you to our amazing officials for their effort over the weekend. Everyone from the officials who assisted with practice on Saturday and from Event Command to boots on the ground you all did an absolutely amazing job yesterday as well. We thank you for always being there to help run events.

Also thankyou to the competitors for your entry we appreciate you supporting our events, and its always good to see some amazing racing. Our apologies for finishing early but sometimes its the only outcome. We will be back on 20-21 September for Round 5.
