When Cory Hearn and I started MMA North one of the main things we wanted to do was ensure the gym was a place that everyone could come and feel welcome. A place where you could not only learn martial arts and train to become fighters but a place that wasn’t intimidating and anyone no matter their fighting prowess or athletic ability could feel like they were a part of the team.
I’m proud to say I believe we have achieved this, I consider the people at this gym family and watching them compete gives me a thrill that I never thought I could achieve outside of competing myself and it’s only up from here ❤️

Strength training is something everyone should include in their weekly exercise routines and before you ask - no it won't make you bulky! 😝
Adding in some strength training twice a week will actually help you reach your fitness goals quicker, increasing your stamina and reducing your chance of injury.
