FACELIFT FOR ROOMS READY FOR 2024

The Sports Club has, with the support of Meander Valley Council community grants and Dulux Paints, completed maintenance painting of the floors in the change-rooms (x4), umpire room, disability toilet, trainers room (x1) and the breezeway. There has also been some repairs to fittings, fixtures and walls.

The rooms look great and a positive result for all users at Prospect Vale Park.

NEW COMMERCIAL DISHWASHER

With the support of Meander Valley Council community grants we have purchased and installing a new dishwasher at the Club.

This will make the job of catering to the members, guests and supporters just a little bit easier when it comes time to clean up.

HUMAN ANATOMY POSTERS FOR SPORTS INJURY

The Sports Club has put on permanent display some high quality posters of human anatomy / sports injury in the two medical rooms.

These are useful as reference and learning tools for sports trainers and participants. 🙂

NEW STORAGE SOLUTIONS
The Prospect Park Sports Club has completed a major relocation and refurbishment of our storage solutions at the venue.
With the support of Meander Valley Council we have been provided larger and more useable storage space to cater to the significant storage requirements of our more than 1800 participant members in football, soccer and touch.
The Sports Club has provided each of our affiliate organisations with shelving racks, lockable cabinets and also assisted with the relocation and clean-up of the previous smaller storage area.
The Meander Valley Council provided a grant for the new equipment. We also acknowledge the support of Bunnings, Hayes Removals and Veolia for their assistance.

TOILETS REDEVELOPMENT COMPLETE

The project to bring the toilet entry doors inside the Club has been completed.

As well, the refurbishment of all fittings and surfaces has given the toilets a real lift and will ensure we stay Covid safe in 2021.

Thank you to Meander Valley Council and everyone's support while the work was being undertaken.

STAY COVID SAFE - WASH YOUR HANDS

NEW HAND DRYERS & SOAP DISPENSERS INSTALLED

The Prospect Park Sports Club has installed new hand dryers and soap dispensers throughout the sports club facility.

There have been 9 units of each installed with the support of Meander Valley Council, Becks Hardware, Virtue Plus and also Chris Ketchell at Ketchell Homes.

These will help with hand hygiene at the Club for all users.

In the near future we are hoping to secure new alcohol based hand sanitiser dispensers for the club and change rooms also.

NEW AFL OVAL READY FOR FOOTBALL TRAINING THIS WEEK.

The new ground surface at Prospect Park is ready for first training sessions this week

New AFL standard goal posts have also been installed.

Some announcements by Local and State Government reps and sports clubs will be made this week also on further upgrades, including soccer field upgrades and upgraded lights and solar power.

Plenty happening to assist the 2500 annual users of Prospect Park.

The redevelopment of the football ground is progressing well with the new grass starting to find its way through over the last month.
