Cricket Tasmania and Cricket Australia are partnering to provide clubs, associations, schools, councils and cricket facility managers with the opportunity to apply for funding for cricket facility projects.
The Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund for 2025/26 is now open and closes at midnight 27 March 2025.

Congratulations to Launceston Cricket Club on claiming the Greater Northern Cup premiership, defeating Mowbray last Sunday at Invermay Park.

Batting first, Launceston posted 9/201, with Dilan Sandagirigoda (58) and captain Will Bennett (59 not out)* leading the way with the bat. For Mowbray, Jensen Smith was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with 3/30 from his 10 overs.

In reply, an exceptional spell from Tom Gray (3/14) put Launceston in a commanding position, reducing Mowbray to 7/76. A late fightback from Drew Clark (42) and Brock Whitchurch (37) kept the Eagles in the contest, but Mowbray were eventually bowled out for 140 in the 43rd over.

The result sealed a 61-run victory for Launceston, crowning them Greater Northern Cup One Day premiers for the 2025–26 season, with Launceston captain Will Bennett named Man of the Match.

Cricket Tasmania has announced details of their Summer Holiday Program offerings for January 2026. Programs on offer include:

- Stage 1 Smash Programs
- All Girls Colour Blast Programs.

CN WOMEN'S SOCIAL CRICKET GALA DAY:
Cricket North is pleased to announce details of our upcoming CN Women's Social Cricket Gala Day.

The day aims to recruit new Women and Girls to clubs in a modified and fun format that is perfect for new and developing players. Teams will play multiple short-form games across the day with all players getting the chance to have a bat and bowl.
