With the club end of season presentation dinner locked in for the 12th of September your chance to dob in a mate has come! We are calling for nominations for the coveted Donkey award which goes to the biggest blunder, most embarrassing moment for the past season. Feel free to post them up here for all to see or send us a message if you want to stay under the radar 😎 so if someone has left the bungs out, filled their rod holder with fuel or maybe lost a comp due to a rookie mistake 🫣 let’s hear about it!!

💥💥The 26/27 Season Kicks off with a BANG 💥💥
2 Good fish captured at opposite ends of Bass strait this week with Daniel Nicole putting a good one on the deck of Stripe it Lucky on Tuesday 134kg whole and then Scotty Atkinson landing one in Old Salt Friday at 116.55kg Whole.
Both anglers made sure they signed up as GFCNT Members befroe heading out to give themselves a chance at the annual and monthly prizes on offer each year.

Congratulations goes out to Junior member Harrison Nicole, who has just had his WORLD RECORD claim approved for the largest southern bluefin tuna caught on 24kg tackle in his age group!! A fantastic achievement and even more special that it was caught in local, southern Bass Strait waters. Daniel Nicole
