2026 first board meeting is being held on this coming weekend, the 2nd/3rd, day and time yet to be determined.

We invite public public comment and agenda items from any genuine interested parties. So please send a FB message to the LIFT Gorillas if you would like to raise an agenda item.

Todays AGM was well supported and we thank all involved. The first point of order is to thank the past board members and acknowledge last years President, Camy Brady, the longest serving President, Brett Wheldon, and the board members like Josh Smith who show up year in and year. Both Camy Brady and Josh Smith continue to serve as Vice President and Treasurer respectively.

The AGM notes will be attached to this post and we encourage all to have a read. The next Board meeting will be in 2 weeks and will welcome general involvement in person or over Zoom. If you have something to contribute, even constructive criticism, we'd love to hear it.

The next meeting dates and place will be posted soon, and the agenda and Zoom link will be posted closer to the date.

Gorillas AGM

Our AGM is on this coming Saturday 18th April at midday at LIFT gym. We can meet at the entrance seating area and move to the conference room when we all arrive. There will be a Zoom link provided as well, and I hope that many of you take the opportunity to listen in at least.

This meeting is really important.

Gridiron in Tasmania is at a critical junction. I personally think it is at a incredibly exciting junction. We at the Gorillas in the north of the state have an opportunity to take control of our sport and its future.

But it will need support. And lots of people giving it a little support will be much easier than a few carrying the burden alone.

So please either come along in person or log into the Zoom connection to show your support of this sport and club. And if you know anyone, partners or friends, who might have some experience to lend, please ask them to come along/join in as well.
