In celebration of world swimming day yesterday 🏊🏻‍♂️, definitely a difficult discipline for me but I’ve only been swimming for just over a year now. I have progressed a lot and I’m excited to see what the future holds! Onward and upward😃.

947 cycle challenge is coming up in a month and the 3 gents in this photo have decided to represent the DL Link charity for children with cancer! Please help me raise money for this amazing initiative using the link attached below 😃.

This initiative is also close to my heart as my mom suffered with Leukaemia as a child and thankfully overcame it. Cancer is dangerous but is not a death sentence, life is worth living with and without cancer and that is what this initiative is all about.

These donation are tax deductible and you will be given a S18A certificate 💪🏻! Any little bit goes a long way when helping those in need.

Thank you very much 😃

It was one of those days.

Always great to race but did not feel great the whole way through 😂 happy to know that even on a bad day I can still pull up a decent result!

2nd in age group (18-29) and 6th overall🤘🏻.

Well done to my athlete on my right for conquering his own battles! 💪🏻🔥

First day in the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve! So crazy to think a Tour de France winner used this route to train! Great day on the bike.

First day out at Suikerbos 🔥🏔

What’s the point of training hard if you can’t do it with the ones you love?❤️

There’s been times in my life where I put training as my top priority, just to realise that there’s more to life than that!

We’ve all heard that life is a balance, but no one tells us how to balance it😅 always a learning curve and always trying to prioritise the things that really matter in life🤘🏻.

Friday morning 45km ride and coffee with the boys😍 it’s the little pleasures that make training so worth it!

Did a 13 km run afterwards, definitely been a successful day out🔥. Definitely feeling stronger on and off the bike, loved every second of it🏆.

This year has been a mess!

Pools closed again, after I was finally getting back into it. No events to look forward to.

One thing I’ve learnt is that I definitely didn’t start this journey to race, I started it with a passion for the human body and it’s potential to do amazing things.

Still fuelling the fire week in and week out to reach the potential of my biological being! 🔥

It never gets easier, you just get faster, and faster I will become 🏊🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️💨 .
