Laverton Boxing Gym

Pete is in absolute tip top condition. He’s become a real professional now who takes it as serious as a job he loves to do (as all boxers should, but only some do). He’s come so far from the kid we first met at the gym that I dismissed like I do with most of the people who walk in the gym

I dunno if I got it from Sammy or not but I have that view of most people that walk in the gym, ‘they aren’t coming back’. Not the best thing for business but it does w**d out the serious ones from the riff raff. Though hukie did tell me this kids for real! I should’ve believed him

He’s come along way this kid. We’re all so proud of the man he’s become. He stands on business, doesn’t take no for an answer and always puts in the work. His improvement has been immense recently and it’s all starting to click now. The kid can fight, now he can box the skies the limit Boxer/friend/coach/brother all words to describe our relationship. I’ll be with ya till the end brother SWIPE RIGHT TO SEE THE TRANSITION!

And just like that Laverton boxing as we know it is over. It’s not the end for us, just the start of a different chapter. Time co strainers and live has pushed us to this decisio. But we will still train fighters and people. Just not in the capacity we used to and the time constraints we’ve had before. Thankyou to everyone who played a part in helping us succeed over the years and all the people that walked through the door and helped eeeks us alive at various stages. It’s been a fu***ng journey and a half and I couldn’t be prouder of the people I’ve got to know over the years and some of the fighters we’ve had and will continue to have

Friday night is a big night for us at Laverton. 3 pros on the same night from such a small gym is absolutely huuuuuge and I couldn’t be prouder of my charges all locked and ready to go

Alot time and history with these three. From 20 years of friendship with two of them to a newer one but a bond just as strong as the others. The culmination of everything we’ve worked for is here for all three on the same night. LFG boysssss

10 rounds with the future two time, two Division Australian champion tonight for our two boys last spar of the camp. Peter and Luke are primed and ready to rock for December 12

We travel that far cause we know it’s quality rounds and boy did we get what we came for. Doms work rate is second to none and he’s sharpened our boys right up for next Friday night

Very busy night on the 12th of December for us! Three fighters on next card which is an absolute cracker. Some great matchups on the rest of the card too

vying for a second Australian title in a second weight class against a big tough queenslander. It’s time to make history

kotsonis in an Australasian title fight at Super middleweight. Ready to put the division on notice and showcase all the improvements we’ve made in the gym
