Members here is your opportunity to design and create you own Turkish mosaic lamp.
Your choice of 10 colours, select the design to suit your personal decor.

The total cost will be $83.53
This includes a 2 day workshop and Mosaic Lamp Kit and morning tea both days and booking fee.MBWS Members Only

Everything you need is included in the kit.
The electric lamp, tiles, beads, glue, grout, lightl bulb and pattern template. You can use your own design if you choose.

On the first day Sun 25th Oct - glue your ready cut tiles and beads on the glass lamp in your own design or copy the pattern template. - take your lamp home to dry

On the second day Sun1st Nov - you will mix the grout into a paste to fill the gaps between the tiles and wipe it down to finish off your beautiful lamp.

Barefoot bowls is a relaxed, social version of lawn bowls played in bare feet or flat-soled shoes, focusing on rolling biased bowls closest to a small white ball (the "jack"). Teams take turns on the green trying to place their bowls nearer the jack than their opponents.

Badminton is a racket sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racket so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and the shuttlecock may only be struck once by each side before it passes over the net.

Tonight we commenced our 8 weeks of Monday Canasta Nights. 9 ladies joined Vicki our host.
We had beginners, those you needed a refresher and the more experienced who played Bolivia.
The ladies enjoyed the night so much we are going to extend the time to 6pm- 8.30pm.

Thank you Heather for baking a lovely cake for supper.

We had 5 ladies play barefoot bowls today. For some it was their first time.
However everyone did really well, with all ladies winning at least 1 round.
Thankyou to Matt from Club Pine Rivers who stayed with us the whole time, giving us pointers for improvement.
Then some ladies stayed on to enjoy lunch.
