Hello
Colleagues, Friends, Sports Enthusiasts, Sports Associations, Dog Lovers and anyone else who liked this site and what it stood for.
With the Blue Mountains Council once again focused on Lawson Golf Course it might just be a good time to shake the dust of this old site and kick the campaign into gear. What do you think?

MMSPORTREC Mid Mountains Sport and Recreation Initiative We want a sport and recreational hub on the old golf course at Lawson. Martin Ryan
This is your chance to be part of one of the most important sport and recreation initiatives in the Blue Mountains, West of Sydney. This will bring benefit to the people of the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney. We already have endorsement from the major sporting organisations see supporters on www.mmsportrec.com.au or follow our page www.facebook.com/mmsportrec.page
This is your chance to make a difference for your generation and the next.
Dear MMSPORTREC supporters we need your help to build a structured group/committee to take this to the next steps. We need people to directly engage with councils governments sport authorities or any other groups or associations that we think can assist. If you believe you can be that voice or would like to nominate someone please do so. Email [email protected] . Happy to discuss
Once again thank you for your support.
Dear supporter of MMSPORTREC we are at that time of year when summer sports come to a close and winter sports commence. Sadly this transition of summer to winter sport highlights our lack of playing facilities.
Please continue to support this initiative.
With Federal Elections on the cards this can be our year.
Happy Christmas and a Peaceful 2013 to all our supporters.
2013 will be an interesting year with Federal Elections and a council proposed town plan for Lawson
Doug Cameron - http://t.co/3KokIcEA Doug another set back for Blue Mountains sport, Mountains United are unable to apply for Rep Soccer
Just shook the cobwebs off the Twitter account encourage people to follow this and we can make it a powerful tool
Football has over 4000 players in the Blue Mountains and sadly our top players will have to leave the mountains if they wish to compete above club level football. Another set back for sport. We need good facilities in the mountains to give all sports in the mountains the chance to exceed. Give the Blue Mountains a Sporting Chance!

A major set back for sport in the Blue Mountains. Sadly Mountains United will not be fielding Men's State League/Federation or Boys Youth League. The Women's soccer is also at risk. See Penrith Press article and letter from Wayne Moloney and Iain Lynch
