Huge congratulations to RCCC Member Bec Wheadon who last week, along with Laurelea Moss (Coffs Harbour CC) and Erica Lunney (Dubbo CC) took out AusCycling Masters National Track Championships Open Team Sprint.

And they did in style beating the current world champions by 0.11 sec in the final!

For those that don't know Bec she's fought back from what could have been a career ending injury essentially having to learn to walk again, so to stand on a top step, taking out a national title, beating the world champions, is a very inspiring story!

Northbridge is going to be buzzing with action from 9:45am as the Masters Teams hit the streets for a fast, technical showdown!

Six corners per lap + a 1.2k circuit = explosive racing guaranteed. 💥

RCCC is sending it with 5 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams — and every race counts. Championship points are up for grabs, and the club with the highest total from their top four riders will walk away as Australian Club Criterium Champion! 🏆

Come cheer loud, bring the vibes, and enjoy a cracking day of racing.

What an incredible day at the Nationals Club TTT! 🎉

Our RCCC crews absolutely smashed it, with huge effort and huge results across the board. We had 9 teams flying the colours today, and the podiums kept rolling in:

👏Men’s 90+ team — 7th place 👏
👏Women’s 120+ team — 8th place 👏
🥈 Women’s 150+ team — 2nd and 5th place 👏
🥇🥈 Men’s 150+ team — 1st, 2nd and 7th place! 👏
🥇 🥉 Men’s 180+ team – 1st and 3rd place 👏

A fantastic day out and an amazing effort from every single rider. 💪👏 Well Done ALL!!!

🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Nationals kick off tomorrow! 🇦🇺

The Club Team Time Trial gets underway tomorrow, Wednesday 7 January, starting from HPC at 9:30am.

RCCC is rolling in strong with:
💥 3 female teams
💥 5 male teams
💥 1 mixed team
👉 4 riders per team!

The course is a 9.8km circuit around Bold Park, with each team tackling 2 laps.

If you’re around, come down and cheer on the RCCC teams as they launch the 2026 Nationals Series right here in Perth 🙌
