You've all been asking . . . (drum roll) . . it's time to reveal that our beloved Go Fives Competitions will be again this year and will kick off October 21st & 22nd.

Team entries will open on Wednesday 30th September.

We had over 270 eager soccer players jumping into 5v5 games last year, and we can't wait to welcome them all back again next month!

Grand Final Results!

We would like to say a massive congratulations to both our Under 17s White and Senior Women's teams for making their respective grand finals.

While we didn't quite come away with the results we had hoped for, we are so proud of your efforts. You have fought hard and given your all, all season long and should be incredibly proud of yourselves!

Grand Final Weekend Is Finally Here!!

We have not one, but two teams into the grand final. Both our Under 17's White & Senior Women's teams have fought their way though the regular season, finding themselves in the top 4 but the battle didn't stop there! After thrilling semi finals, they still have one more chance to take the top spot!

So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, you know where to find us. Wear your best Knights Gear, make signs, bring your pom-poms & face paint. Cheer these magnificent teams on as they prove what we already know, KNIGHTS ARE WINNERS!!!

Congratulations to all of the teams that played over the weekend!

Everyone gave their all and didn't give up until the final whistle blew. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves, whether moving into the final or not.

Under 17's White are through to the Grand Final!

A more evenly matched game you wouldn’t find anywhere. The first half saw both teams execute impressive attacking runs and defensive saves, it took an incredible strike from U17 Blue’s captain Will Langley Jones outside the 18 yard box to give his team the advantage in the dying minutes of the first half.

U17s White were not to be outdone with fast paced striker Noah Bowman getting a goal on the scoresheet for his team in the first two minutes of the second half. What followed was a dramatic second half of even possession and a 2-2 scoreline that forced the game into extra time.

Another strike by Bowman and a magnificent long lob by Billy Cawood put U17s White in the lead but a late strike by U17s Blue’s Mitch Ellen seemed to suggest a comeback. However, a final minute penalty converted by Cole Munday to secure the win for the U17s White team.

The game was a wonderful exhibition of sportsmanship between a talented group of players. Well done Knights!

Our Senior Women’s team is into the Grand Final!

After going down 1-0 in the early stages of the game, Naomi Eaton was able to find the back of the next minutes before half time.

The Knights came into the second half fighting, with midfielder, Jordan Rintoule putting the Knights ahead for the first time in the game.

Wonthaggi weren’t quite done and managed to equalise in the 83rd minute.

As the game game to a close and it looked as though we’d be going to extra time, it was Tallarah Murdoch who found the back of the net, putting the knights back in front where they belong.

Excellent work from everyone involved, everyone gave their all from start to finish.

They take on Drouin Dragons in the Grand Final next Saturday in Trafalgar.
