*TIME TO A CALL OUT LEGEND!!*

Time to pause from a hectic start of the season and give a massive thanks to our Groundskeeper W***y (Ross, in the hi-vis).

Ross has spent the last 3 weeks+ preparing the whole of Glover for our first round of home games, starting tonight at 7pm with our u16/1 Rumble Ponies in a local derby against Concord.

We appreciate everything you've done mate - working with council, preparing the mound, fixing the fences, filling holes and creating the 'Jess Kennedy bullpen' just to name a few.

Special mention to to Coach Mark (also in photo) for keeping spirits high while Ross and I worked! 🤣

Its people like Ross + Mark that keep the club running!

Enjoy your games this weekend!

Go Boomers!

Boomer alumni signs with the Pittsburgh Pirates!
The Wests Boomers very own Ashton Kennedy is now a professional baseball player, having signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates organisation on 22-May. Trading in the black and purple for black and gold, Ashton starts his professional baseball career as a two-way player (Aussie Ohtani!) in the Rookie League for the DSL Pirates in the Dominican Summer League, a typical pathway for young international players. Ashton flies out next week in time for the start of the summer baseball season.

Congratulations Ashton - we're all very proud of you!
