RLNR By-Law: Adopted 27 May 2025
Junior Representative selection
A player must have played in a RLNR member competition for 2 years preceding the upcoming rep season to be eligible to trial for Northern Rivers Titans Andrew Johns, Laurie Daley and Lisa Fiaola competitions.
Example, a player must have played U14’s and U15’s, or U16’s and U18’s in a RLNR member competition to be eligible for Andrew Johns or Laurie Daley selection and U15’s and U17’s for Lisa Fiaola selection. Players may, from time to time, be given approval to trial if they have not played for the 2 years preceding as outlined, under exceptional circumstances. This may be, but not limited to, having moved to the area with proof of residential address in the RLNR area or are a returning junior to the area. Definition of a returning junior would be a player who has played a majority of seasons with a club in RLNR region.
Amendment 1: adopted 30 July 2025:
• This by-law is effective from 2026 trials for 2027 Rep season
Leading up to the trials, you will receive updates. Please ensure that your email address that you register under is up to date so you receive all communication.

An amazing experience for Bella from the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League Referees Association who got to run water and experience a match-day doubleheader with the match officials for the NRLW clash between the Gold Coast Titans and the Brisbane Broncos, joined by Ziggy, Tori & Izzy and the NRL clash between the Gold Coast Titans and the Cronulla Sharks, joined by Peter Michael & Jake.
Big thanks to our own local mentor, Michael Wise for making this happen.
Congratulations Bella

The Northern Rivers Referees Association has a member who is raising funds to support women suffering from Endometriosis.
Bella will be participating in The border bolt 22km run this Sunday and says this means a lot to her.
“This one means a lot to me as it has had a huge impact on my life. 1 in 7 women in Australia have Endometriosis, it has stopped me from doing things I love”.
Bella is running to support the fundraising to hopefully find a cure soon.
On any normal weekend, Bella would run more that 22km with her referee duties in both the Junior & Senior competitions. Let’s all help Bella reach her donation target. Better still, let’s smash it in Support of Bella.
Good luck with everything Bella
