On the weekend we entered a team into the Toowoomba Knockout for our very first time. It was a great day out watching some good footy with the Bradley Duroux Memorial Team pulling Howard Salter Memorial Team on the day. Was a hard hit out for the boys coming up against a tough team. Our team didn’t go out without a fight though we unfortunately lost in the first round but we all fought till the buzzer with pride. ❤️

We were very lucky to have some experienced staff on board having Preston and Ashley Connors on as coaching staff and The legend Ben Barba running our water for us. ✊🏽

Our latest 50s board for our next up and coming carnival successfully done, big thanks to everyone that continue to show support through this tough pandemic. It may seem like it’s been abit since our last carnival but we are working hard for our next one.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get supporters gear in time as we were super busy organising for the carnival itself but we are happy to announce we will be taking orders for Fiona Hippi Memorial Team supporter polos as of today but will not place order until we have a decent amount of orders together but we have an overwhelming amount of interest so get in fast you wouldn’t want to miss out.

Wow what a weekend of great rugby down at Inverell Rugby Park!!
The My Galamaays side was built on introducing the youth to the men’s competition.
Fiona Hippi Memorial Team was formed when Fiona suddenly passed away late last year.
Both teams played to represent each other, family, pride and most importantly our gomeroi elders.
Firstly we would like to thank all our sponsors from both sides (Your Town, ACP Serve The People and The Elite Barber Shop) for helping us make this possible.
We would like to thank FLYHISPORTS and Print Fresh for supplying the gears each side.
Huge thank you to Inverell rugby 7s and the Inverell Highlanders for organising the carnival and letting us bring the sides over.
We would also like to thank the designers of the gears, our staff and players and a huge thank you to our supporters!
