1 Country Championship Victory | 1 State Final Runner-Up | 2 Country Championship Runner-Ups

The weekend saw Far North Coast representative teams from U12s, U13s, U14s, U16s and U18s Boys, along with North Coast U14s, U16s and U18s Girls, travel across New South Wales to compete in the NSW State Championships β€” the pinnacle event of the junior rugby calendar.

πŸ† U18s Girls – NSW Country Champions, State Runners up

The U18s Girls campaign can be summed up in one word: defence.
This talented group claimed the NSW Country Championship after an epic 7-5 victory over Central West in what was one of the great games of rugby. They backed it up the following day with a State Final appearance against Gordon, holding their opponents scoreless until the closing stages. The girls finished the weekend as Country Champions and State Runners-Up β€” an outstanding achievement.

πŸ₯ˆ U18s Boys – Country Runners-Up, 3rd in State
The U18s Boys played fast, physical and clinical rugby throughout a highly competitive tournament. After a hard-fought Country Championship Final against Hunter, the boys finished 2nd in Country and 3rd in the State, proudly showcasing the quality of rugby played on the Far North Coast.

πŸ₯ˆ U13s Boys – Country Runners-Up
Battling temperatures as low as 9 degrees in Orange, the U13s Boys went undefeated through the pool rounds to earn a place in the Country Championship Final. Facing a strong Illawarra side, they narrowly went down 7-5 to finish 2nd in Country and 5th in the State.

U16s Girls – Rising Through the Ranks
The U16s Girls produced some outstanding rugby in Sydney, embracing every challenge and playing an exciting brand of rugby throughout the tournament. Their efforts resulted in a 4th-place Country finish, a significant improvement on previous years, while also earning an impressive six Country selections.

U15s Boys – Connected and Competitive
The U15s Boys had an outstanding weekend in Maitland. Judging by the feedback received from coaches, supporters and social media, they were one of the most connected, respectful and energetic teams in the competition β€” with plenty of help from Fin the Dolphin along the way.
They finished 3rd in the Country Championships before bowing out in a hard-fought Plate Semi-Final against Gordon.

U16s Boys – Among the State's Best
Widely regarded as one of the toughest age groups in junior rugby, the U16s competition was fiercely contested. The boys rose to the occasion, with their only losses coming against eventual Country Champions Hunter and State Champions Randwick. They finished 3rd in Country and 7th in the State.

U14s Boys – Strong Finish
After a challenging opening day, the U14s Boys regrouped, built strong combinations and produced some exciting rugby on day two. Their resilience saw them finish 9th in Country and 19th in the State.

U12s Boys – Bright Future Ahead
The U12s Boys enjoyed a fantastic State Championships experience. Supported by a dedicated coaching group, this talented squad played some excellent rugby throughout the tournament, finishing 5th in Country and 14th in the State.

U14s Girls played their hearts out in yet another competitive age group but held their own and played some great rugby in what is alot of girls 1st Representative rugby experience
